Also Cursed Blood for proactive control.

Hilde can and often does use Yoga Adept as moar proactive control, with 7hs it only makes sense.

I wouldn't bother, the hype was worth it... Any character that can T1 kill, or offer the threat of doing that, and has symbols for the long game is worth the hype...

All I'm saying is, your Hilde deck better have more kill conditions than just Lynx Tail - Cobra Blow...

That's the bare bones minimum kill with no need of any foundations. Any combination of Lynx Tail/Ira Spinta/Cobra Blow/Amy's Assistance/Healer is pretty much a kill and Heel Snipe sides in when they get Tag Along happy. Normally I'd play it main instead of Spinta but Spinta has a lot of general use and chains with Cobra Blow.

Iori3 fer the win, FO SHO!!

Hilde is scary, she lives up to her rep in SC4. One little misstep, and you get juggled out of the ring and instantly lose... here, one little misstep = instant lose by stupid-fast stupid-damage attack. :b

I hate to interrupt, Teric, but you've ignored every other attempt I've made to contact you. I've been waiting for my cards for over a month now, are you a ripper or is there some other problem?

Yes, Dunjohn, he is a ripper, I'm in exactly the same situation. Been over a month, no response to communication, with yours and my situations, he's a -2 trader, hopefully someone can put that up in the trade forums.

Fire Iori maybe. Once that guy gets some reliable momentum generation, he'll be usable.

Spinta + White Magic + KOF2006 + Wonderworld Warriors (or was it Comics) seems fairly solid :]

i'm pretty sure it's warriors.

or you can be pro and run him off evil/fire so that way you get meat eater too, which is stupid good with him.

Hence why I said Fire Iori. Giving -2 to everything is totally hoss, esp. when combined with Expelled Humanity.

@Dunjohn & Cascade: I have email both of you about my situation,

-thanks

I still like Akuma 7/20 with "yoga adept" is pretty good along with his commit effect. I keep hearing that whats he gonna kill with now that Tiger Fury is not playable in his deck. Well you have your staple Evil line up R Flare, Launcher, Breaker, Ichi, a Fire line up, R Flare/Spinta, Launcher, Breaker, Pommel Smash etc. But I think that a Void line up wouldn't be the worst either. Sardine's Beach Special wouldn't be the worst thing, if you plan on playing the long game, and depending on your Foundation line up there is always Reppa, Lunar Slash, Hide Tide etc.

But overall Akuma still seems like the man to me, plus he can actually run Yoga Adept, Seclusion, Anti K' and Blood Runs True. Manifest interacts really well with Seclusion and Yoga Adept plus Yoga isn't a hack so its not turned off by Destiny.

Zangief - good mill is good mill

Zi Mei - Great symbol line up.

If you wanna discuss Void Akuma, I'm sure Eithinis wouldn't mind gloating

Other characters I like are Hidel, Victor, Blanka, Donovan, and Seong-Mina.

Also promo Guy, Gen, and Olexa are good imo.

i think heel snipe and sardines is a good lineup for akuma.

I can't remember who it was on here that said ALL was TOP TIER, but it lost half it's foundation base. Bitter, Makai, and Chester made ALL decks works, with the exception of AlexTurnItUp. But then again, some one with surely prove me wrong, oh well.

Top Decks at Worlds

Evil Anything

Death Blanka/Tira

Void Akuma/Zhao Daiyo

And of course there will be some random deck that no one would ever run or expect anyone else to run that will stomp face.

Yeah me too, you can A New Low, Heel Snipe then WoTP there hand away, then kill the next turn with Sardine's.

or *** to empty your hand, Then draw 4 off white Gi, then *** them for another 4.

All this at the end of their turn...lol.

And of course you also commit their board

akuma is pretty crazy right now. you can esentially just say no to whatever your opponent does.

I think earth is pretty underatted. I've got a Hugo deck that has won plenty of local events and I'd really like to try it against some more diverse, "nationals" type players. It's probably imperfect just cuz I only own 3 Amys, but its still more than most decks can handle.

hugo symply has so much health it can be hard for some characters to kill him. his biggest disadvantage is that he gets pawned by tag along.

This, but that's why Earth has Inhuman Perception . happy.gif

I agree with Ninjazanus, though; Earth has gone up quite a bit. Not only can you put the Distractible 's down (thereby adding 2-4 cards of space), and I can't believe that Promo Yi Shan and big Hugo haven't been mentioned until 2 posts ago.

I disagree. His biggest disadvantage is that he gets reamed by Ira Spinta, bad or hacked checks, or any other foundation denial strategy you may have.

he gets butt-raped if you remove his Giant of a Man's and Hulking Brutes.
