Scum Huge ship poll

Star Jewel for the win (minstrel class space yacht)

Is Lady Luck too small to be huge, because it feels too big to be large.

Crusader Class is looking adorable, so its this...

and Hounds' Tooth as 'small' epic ship.

I like a lot of these, but I went with the Action VI. I think it'd be great to see Talon Karrde represented in the game. Yes, I know many people consider him to be too close to the Rebel to be proper scum. Oh well. I disagree.

But, yes, I do like the others as well. Regarding the Hound's Tooth, I think they could (and should) fit it onto a large base. Sure, it'll be a little long, but not prohibitively so.

There are quite a few ships that fall into a gap of seeming too big for large and too small for huge. Our biggest large is 40m long and our smallest huge is 90m. You also have to consider the width and height of these ships.

People on the forums have said the hounds tooth falls into the large ship zone i kinda agree based on how skinny its main body is.

Lady luck is also in this area.

Shout out to Mel for his work and ship scaling wizardry.

The Star Jewel (Minstrel-class Yacht) is definitely my favorite of the likely options. It may not be canon, as such, but it allows for the addition of a host of canon characters. Ultimately, they need to get Jabba into the game and the Star Jewel is the way to do it. After all, not having Jabba in the scum faction would be akin to an Empire devoid of Darth Vader.

Besides, I really want a Han Solo in Carbonite cargo upgrade. I don't care if if the upgrade does anything, just the sheer joy of having him in my cargo hold is enough for me!

You may want to add the C-ROC Gozanti Cruiser to the poll, as it is different enough from its namesake to be a seperate option and it has already made multiple appearences in Star Wars Rebels as a scummy ship. Personally I don't expect any Rebels ships till wave 8ish but it is a possibility.

Hutt ship, the Mistrel class Yacht.

Without Hutt we wouldn't have the Leia Bikini scenes!

I voted for the Star Jewel for precisely the same reasons.

Also, a Rancor Pit modification.

Medium sized ships that use a small and large base template,

Colossal sized ships that use three large templates. Gargantuan space stations!

Wave 8: Logistics and shipping.

Wild Karrde for the win along side a Z-95 with a Mara Jade pilot.

Minstrel and Crusader for Control (it's Scum, so not Support) and Combat respectively.

None for me thanks.

Another Imperial huge then let's talk.

I like all of them, but I'm holding out hope for the Gozanti to join the Raider with the Empire. My preference in order:

1. Crusader: I like the cut of it's jib. And it has the right width to work in the game as a model.

2. Interceptor/ Action VI: It's the same ship, the Interceptor is just a modified version. FFG could just use a couple titles, and maybe a couple removable plates to distinguish which one you're using in the match.

3. Minstrel: I'd really like this more than the Interceptor/Action but its slightly larger than a CR90, and much wider, so I don't think it would work as well as a game piece. But it might be worth it for Jabba and Carbonite Han.

This was actually pretty hard to decide. In the end what I would most like to see on the table is the crusader-class corvette as I like the look of it the best out of the possible choices. A very close second would be the minstral-class space yacht; I would really love to see a Jabba crew card! Hopefully they do both!

Is it just me or does the Action VI look like a Dust Buster ?

I'm voting for the Minstrel Class - Jabba and a Scum version of Rebel Captive (wearing a metal bikini) as crew cards - say no more

Yeah, it's totally a dust buster.

Whatever the Scum huge ship is, I will probably not buy it.

With the recent change to the tournament rules about using my current dials (and models) for scum ships I am slightly more likely to invest in the scum at all, a epic only scum ship is pretty much a no-brainer, not going to buy.

My vote for Action VI transport. Its the most common vessel in that size.

Lady luck is also in this area.

I heard that the Decimator at 38 meters is already pushing the boundary of ships that FFG is willing to put on the large base. So I think it's highly unlikely the Lady Luck at 50 meters or the Hound's Tooth at 62 meters (even the smaller official version at 47 meters) will be large ships since they are both even larger than the Decimator. Considering that FFG uses a sliding scale for huge ships, I think the physical models of Lady Luck and Hound's Tooth wouldn't actually be much smaller than the Rebel Transport. Even the custom models you posted pictures of look like they should be on two large stands instead of one.

There are other threads debating the hounds tooth. Some feel its huge others feel its large and that's pretty much why I left it off this poll. I have little doubt that we'll see the hounds tooth in some form. I think FFG would first do a ship that's on par with the cr-90. There are a number of other possibles that I left off the poll mostly because I didn't want the poll to have 20 odd choices like my last so some ships didn't make the cut (Sorry DP-20 guys). Some anal people might say something like I'm skewing the results or whatever by not having these ships as contenders but this isn't a poll for who's going to be president of the universe so its not that big a deal. Another thing to keep in mind is what ship we want the most isn't just going to be the most popular there are design and manufacture considerations. If ship X is bigger then ship Y then the shipping is going to cost more and less units will fit in a shipping container and other issues like that.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if FFG management has already decided what huge ships they'll use for scum.

What about a Huge Ship on a single Large Base? Using the Epic scaling it might work for Hounds Tooth.

Action VI is the most obvious candidate. Scum Gozanti is second most obvious, unless the Imperials get their version.
