What about a Huge Ship on a single Large Base? Using the Epic scaling it might work for Hounds Tooth.
It could be the first 1 point epic ship.

Scum has a much wider set of sources to draw their ships from. Hutt Cartels, Black Sun, Zann Consortium not to mention all the pirate fleets. Action VI could come with a Z-95 repaint with Mara Jade and that would be cool. Scum Gozanti with a Black sun paint job might be nice but I think it will end up in the empire camp mostly because they need all the options in that size range they can get. The Star jewel has a strong claim too being Jabba's ship and it was introduced in dark forces, but i wonder about the rods that stick out the back of it they might break easily as a model. Crusader-Class looks interesting and would fill out the Zann Consortium element of scum along with IG-88 or could be Mandalorian styled so there's options for painters.
I don't know about ships, most of them are....uninspired to flat out ugly. But I second the notion that we need Jabba the hutt.
sure he's slimy, and repugnant, and morally ambivelant, but he Had a rancor in the basement and excellent taste in women. He knew how to negotiate, and how to make an example.
The Action VI, for Talon Karrde's Wild Karrde title and the Twin Suns Big Score title
Small ship included, another Z-95 for Mara Jade
Also included, the cardboard needed to transfer the GR-75 Transport.
I'll revise my answer somewhat. I wouldn't mind a
Gozanti-class cruiser
if it was an Imperial Epic.
That ship is in the movies (okay in a prequel) and in the Rebels animated show (technically a prequel I guess). I wouldn't mind seeing this as a second Imperial Huge. If they included cards to make it S&V too, I be okay with that.
In fact I'm hoping for one.

I dunno - if the Action VI offers some utility I might buy it
like the ability to plug it into a wall charger and use it clean out the trunk of my car for example
1. Wild Kaarde with a Skipray Blastboat (to come out AFTER the Skipray is in wave 7/8.
2. Errant Venture with Mirax Terrik on a YT-1300 or 2700.
Crusader with a variant M3-A. Maybe with the extended wings.
I would choose no huge scum ship, I would like to be able to use scum without buying said large ship.
I think the Star Jewel is by far the best choice. It would be so cool to have that ship in the game, to include Jabba, and frankly I think it may be EU, but it looks super Star Warsy.
I think it should be paired with...wait for it...a Dunelizard!
If we don't get a Dunelizard for scum at some point, I'm seriously going to cry. I ordered one of Mel's and I'm going to have a cool paint scheme for it as soon as I get it (though obviously I can't play with it since it isn't in the game...yet).

Errant Venture 's an ImpStar freaking Deuce, though, no WAY we'd get it.

Why wait for it to be included in the "official" game... if ever? There are several good "create your own ship card" sites (and several more really good artists who frequent this forum, who might be able to assist). Mel (and Gosric) make excellent 3D printed minis to help you play out your Star Wars dreams... why wait for FFG to fulfill yours? You may not be able to use them in tournaments but so what?!?
Edited by Chris MaesThat's fair enough, Chris. However, I do trust FFL to go through the trouble of play-balancing to some degree, better than I probably would anyway. I would give a Dunelizard something like 2 Firepower, 3 Agility, 3 Hull and 2 Shields, making it a lighter-hitting but more survivable X-wing. Maybe barrel roll while I'm at it? I will definitely have the Mel Dunelizard mini painted up ASAP and I'll post it up on the forums, hopefully it will inspire the game designers.

The problem with that stat line--that is, the TIE Advanced stat line--is that it doesn't bring enough offense for its price. Although I guess you could give it the cannon slot, price it at about 19 points, and see what happens.

That was my thought, giving it the cannon slot, or the same sort of pay for a cannon slot situation you have with the Scyk. And if you have the same barrel roll and evade from the TIE advanced, you have, in my opinion, a pretty interesting mainline ship for the scum, as it keeps with the theme of cannon-based firepower and agility, but it has the shields and the hull to last for more shots than a Scyk. Bit of a thread derail, of course, but there it is.
The key, I think, is somehow distinguishing it from the Scyk and StarViper.
I wonder if 0-attack with a cannon slot would work, but that's wierd and subject to nasty crits.
I wouldn't use a title to add the cannon slot, though, as the title ought to be the Type II Dunelizard and add a Salvaged Astromech slot.
That restricts movement design a bit because we have to consider Unhinged Astromech.
(also this is more interesting than talking about an ugly selection of Huge ships)

Those are really interesting ideas. I love the astromech slot idea. I guess another option to distinguish it from something like say the TIE Advanced would be with the dial. If it could pull the same S-loop that some of the other scum ships can pull, now we're talking about a very unique play style. If it has the cannon too, then you've got a mobile gun platform with some funky movements and more survivability than you get out of the Scyk. Of course, the Star Viper already has the S-loop, so there's that...
S-loop becomes a very wierd thing unless you somehow make the 'mech slot title affect it.
Maybe the first ship to have a 2-Segnor?
Space Yatch. I want some Hutt's in Space.
Dunno if Scum will get a Huge ship. Takes a lot of resources for something that isn't all that popular on the tabletops–at least in relations with other FFG games.
If it does happen, I'm guessing the:

The legal team cant take the sky from meee!
Poll's been up for a week and it seems the crusader has the lead though its a fair spread between the other ships too except the interceptor.
I find it interesting that to does seem to have a very CR-90 like design in the middle of the ship.

Your poll is missing the Hounds' Tooth
Also missing is the Corellian DP20 Gunship.
I just finished reading the third book of the Thrawn Trilogy
and a pair of them were used by pirates to attack an Imperial shipyard.
• The Dark Revenge was a DP20 frigate that was used by the pirate organization Dharus' Buccaneers during the time of the Galactic Civil War.
• The Loose Cannon was a DP20 frigate operated by a group of privateers known only by the name of this vessel.
• The Sable II was a Corellian gunship commandeered by the pirate Karn Granzor. It was destroyed in battle with the Anto's Star which was manned by former crewmembers of Sable II.
•The Slader's Raider II was a DP20 frigate that was owned and operated by the pirate and smuggler Roark Slader during the early years of the New Republic.
• The Gunship was the name of Niles Ferrier's personal DP20 frigate.

You just have to imagine the potential.

Irrelevant.
