Just got the most wanted and not sure what to use for 3 player or 2 player I don't have the yt2400 or the slave any ideas for strats?
what is a good squad with scum most wanted
Do you have an additional Y-Wing and a HWK?
I have a y and a HWK yes
If you have a second Y-Wing (the Rebel one) then I suggest 2 Thugs or Hired Guns with turrets and astromechs of your choice. If you also have a HWK then give one of the new unique pilots a try! Torkil Mux is really legit, and Dace Bonearm offers a unique spin on the ion strategy. Tailor as desired. :3
The only ships I don't have is the tantive, millennium falcon, slave, and tie intercepter I have all other rebal and imperial no scum (other then most wanted)
While I don't know how I feel about her yet, Drea Renthal with R4-B11 might be an effective option. If you arm her with torpedoes (I know, blasphemy) you can Focus as a default action and then stress her to create a PtL like effect. If you feel like doing a risky attack, keep abusing her with lots of stress to hit as hard as possible with the attack, or with some luck you might not have to stress her too hard.
I had an EPIC slugfest against a AAAZZZY swarm last week with 2 Binayre Pirates with HSB, Emon with an assortment of bombs and mines, and Kavil with ICT
IMO Kavil with ICT is the standout performer - I know everyone says you need to put aggro and Blaster on him - but that's exactly the reason why he works better with ICT - no-one realises what a threat he is until it's too late to stop him
Im a big fan of Y wings with BTL-A4 and any turret

I second the bearded baron BTL-A4 with Ion Turret is monsterous

Well you do need a target lock to spend first before you can start chaining it, but after that you might find yourself shaming poor Tycho.
Kavil with blaster and agromech is formidable, I'd probably add a syndicate thug with the same load out. Add a bomb, run a z95 with ndru and lone wolf, throw in a hawk or z95 to round out the squad.
Kavil can throw 4 dice attacks out of arc with target lock. He has 8 hit points. He is outstanding! The syndicate thug is similar, 3 dice with a target lock, both can attack 360 degrees of course. Ndru with lone wolf is outstanding as well.
Flavor to preference.
If you run the btl title, take engine upgrade and leave Kavil at home.
If you think funny is good try:
1x Syndicate thug: autoblaster turret, Genius, engine upgrade, proton bombs
5x Binayre Pirate: Dead mans switch.
... If you think effective is good don't.
i second the notion for torkil mux. his ability gives you a very strong opportunity to kill off high priority targets before they can even shoot. Kavil seems very promising but i have yet to give him a go myself. N'dru is highly overrated and it's very hard to get his pilot ability to work for you unless he makes it to the end game. He looks better on paper than he plays on the field; i believe it's because he's a solid pilot trapped in the terrible z-95 with its terrible dial to boot, if you do decide to run him i wouldn't outfit him with too much as you'll just end up painting a target on him and you'll never make up the points you spent on him.
i know this is for most wanted only, but if you weren't planning on buying any of the other ships i would highly recommend having at least 1 starviper and 1 m3-a to really open up some great options for you. The starviper is a force to be reckoned with and m3-a makes one hell of a support ship
I feel like I will get a star viper haha they seem fun like the phantom but scum thanks everyone
Fly Torkil near the Y-Wings and N'Dru on his own.
Torkil drops one ship to PS0 at the end of the Activation phase.
N'Dru fires first with Lone Wolf rerolls.
Torkil Fires next with Blaster Turret.
Y-Wings fire normally, spend Focus token to gain a Target Lock.
Y-Wings fire Ion Cannon Turrets.
Or if you want to be even more brutal, you run Palob Godalhi instead of Torkil Mux. Now you just steal the chosen ship's Focus/Evade token away and proceed to throw tons of modified attack dice against a ship with no way to modify its defense.
So all this talk about btl but using it means you can't ever fire in a 360 and your required to keep your targets in front. Now this might be ok for a normal ship but ywings Arnt exactly known for their maneuverability haha. Don't get me wrong I like what the btl gives you but I feel like the 360 is way more useful and requires less points to spend on a ship trying to make it more maneuverable to get those forward facing shots. Most likely you'll put EU on it as well as the droid that makes 3 speeds green for a total of 5 points. That's 5 points I could spend to just make sure my turret hits hard the first time and not requiring a gunner like effect. If however your facing a lot of decimators and falcons then by all means use the btl but otherwise more often than not I feel it's more of a hindrance.
Consider this ywing setup
Kavil
Blaster turret
Marksmanship
Agromech
Exp interface
36 pts
You get a 4 dice attack at range 1-2 with a free target lock and focus from marksmanship to change a hit to crit and all other focus to hits. That's one powerful turret.

My buddy just won the local SC with 4 ion A4s with agros. You would be a fool to down play this list, regardless of its opponents. The things are dang nasty now.
The A4 title gives the Ys a substantial increase in damage output. While personally am of the opinion that autoblaster turret should ever be used with the title, the others are excellent and Y-wings aren't *that* bad at maneuvering.

Attack 1 primary weapon range 1
3 dice-best case all hits
Attack 2 ion turret
3 dice-best case all hits but only 1 damage.
Net damage=4 if they didn't roll any evades
Now with a blaster turret best case is 6 dice all hits.
However if your using a blaster turret you won't be able to spend your focus on your primary weapon attack since you will need it to use your blaster turret but again now you have no focus to use. So using the xwingdice app we get this result
Attack dice: 3
With attacker target lock
vs. Defense dice: 0

So we double the first ywings damage since it will be performing that same attack twice and we get an expected damage against a 0 defense ship at roughly 4.5. For kavil we see 3.7 who still keeps his turret capability. It's 3/4 of a damage less. For a normal ywing obviously the damage will be less since it can't use marksmanship. So basically kavil doesn't want btl on him since your not gaining that much more damage. For regular ywings tho then btl will increase your damage on paper but in the field will need better flying than your opponent in order to pull it off. I actually beat a z95,triple ion ywing btl list with my Kath, boba, z95 list. Went full speed and overshot them and fired from behind. We both kturned and Kath had outlaw tech which gave me focus and then did the same thing again. This time Kath got ioned went straight and boba overshot and fired behind killing a ywing. Basically from there on they just couldn't do enough damage to me. I ended up losing Kath and boba had a shield left and the z95 was left alone. I have yet to face 4 ywings with ions but I'm pretty sure I could handle them again with my twin firespray/z95 list. Boba Kath are beasts. Anyways enough of that rant, basically to reiterate the thing I don't like about using btl on ywings is it forces you to fly better than your opponent in order to work whereas keeping your turret allows you to fly equally as good or sometimes even worse and still be ok. I understand it does more damage (when you get a shot) however there are so many highly maneuverable ships these days I find it hard to think that they will allow you to land an arc on them very often.
Edited by Jaden CkastI had great fun with Kavil (BT/Opp/R4 Agg), Palob (BT/Opp/MCrow/RecSpec), Kaa'To (Wingman/ID) and stock Z95. Focus passing is fun and annoying to your opponent.
