Advanced sensors and dropping bombs

By Seanamal, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Since the aggressor is the first ship to be able to drop a bomb and has a system upgrade slot, I'm unsure if this has been addressed yet. If you have a bomb (seismic charge) can you use advanced sensors to boost prior to releasing the bomb? I believe you can but I'd like some input as I rarely use bombs.

They trigger simultaneously, so you may do them in whichever order you wish.

Your desire to Boost, Drop, then Fly is perfectly legal.

Actually the timing is not simultaneous. AS trigger immediately before revealing your dial while bombs are dropped when you reveal the dial. So you have to use AS first if you want to. You can't drop the bomb and then use AS.

Why does it so often happen that a question will go unnoticed or unvoiced for months and then suddenly we get multiple topics asking the exact same thing on the same day?

The half dozen threads about scum dials this week I can understand because they were just released, but this happens over and over again with many, diverse topics. Absolutely nothing about a particular subject, then BAM! within a 24 hour period 2-3 threads by different author asking the same question. Why?

BTW, Seanamal, I am blatantly hijacking your thread. I hope you don't mind. but I did link to another thread asking your question from 4 hours ago.

Indeed, it's becoming a more common trend lately. Does it stem from the inability to check down the topic page further to see if the question has already been asked, or is it the lack of using the search function? <_<

I think they heard you. I now see a SEARCH box in the upper right. It would be good to let everyone know because they are not used to it being there.

There's always been a search function, although it was hidden better before the site upgrade. ;)
