A change to the dice as a mod for the game.

I was considering the 33% success of the current dice option and found it a tad lacking. I thought of an alternate die face set up. Instead of the 4 blanks and 2 xcom symbols it gets change to 3 xcom symbols and 1 UFO symbol. The UFO symbol ups the threat by 1(ie 1 more for a failure). We get a 50% chance for a success and 16% chance for a double threat movement. This could be a change to all dice used or just 1 with the option to use it each round. Thoughts?

Why did you find it lacking?

that seems like an interesting mechanic, and I wouldn't be opposed to it if it had come in the box that way. Maybe that type of dice could come out when the release an update/expansion, or something like that.

Success or fail. That's all? I am used to a bit more outcomes in most custom dice games. I don't think its bad the game is great and I like it just needs a bit more variety. Or not. Just an idea.

Well, to be fair, the results are combination of "hit or miss" and "survive or die trying". But you are right, especially with pushing the task, the results don't vary much. I understand your preference, and it would have been neat to include - and still could be something done later on.
