Makes me wonder what I should play next.
Not that I really care... little bit of everything does the body good.
Any don't be silly enough to think Order's actually lost something. It hasn't :3

Ok, 8 check on a reversal.
I can do this all day. It's easier to toss a 1 difficulty foundation on your turn, Stained Honor it, then toss Jaguar Thousand.

death as a symbol just got so broken. also raph and hilde can now kill whenever the feel like it. i think adon may actualy see some play now.
Anyone who can will sideboard Deadly Ground Vega for just that reason.
Nah, Tag Along will still be run, as will Strife's (moreso now w/o BR gone, looky looky is a tech I can't live without). Healer, FoF, Holding, Fast Food Eater, etc.
I've never used Rejection competitively, and I've never had a problem defending against early agro. It's just a matter of holding the right blocks or getting the right cards into play earlier.

Hilde and Raph have answers to all of those.
Good: Heel Snipe, Alluring Beauty to commit those Holding Grounds/Healers/FoF
(Hilde) Order: Experienced Combatant (gotta use 7HS for something), Ira Spinta to pick up those Holding Grounds/Healers/FoF
All the bannings mean to me is that I might be able to drop Distractible for a more useful card.

Good also has Ichi No tachi.
In response to the OP...Hey Arch...i think we can see a return of basic speed and damage pump decks. I do NOT think we'll see a drop off of damage redux, and i think more and more decks will start to run counter-measures to speed pump.
Some characters that will see more play: Promo Guy, Fio, Starter Zi Mei (maybe stacked with Promo Zi), Mignon...basically, and especially since momentum became a much more precious commodity, any character that can generate momentum on their own is going to see a rise in popularity.
I think Death is as strong as it's ever been, particularly since B1 Death 'Ruru saw play. It's become THE symbol to play if you want to run Control or Hybrid. Good and Life became much more interesting, and i'm looking forward to seeing what i can come up with off these symbols.
I think Split Symbol decks became even more viable and interesting to build and play, particularly since the Meta is as wide open now as it's ever been; much less Staple cards than ever, too, which is a great thing, imo, since this will only foster even more creativity.
A couple decks i think will see play: Death or Death/Fire **Yang**, Air/Chaos Fio (which i've had deck listed for months!), Air/Chaos Starter Zi, Fire/Order Promo Guy (TransPlans is baaaack, baby!)...er, well...maybe i'm just listing decks i'm interested in building!

...sounds to me like we're on the same side.
Jaguar Thousand may require a 10, but obviously you wouldn't play it unless you knew you'd more than likely pass it. If people can pass 7 difficulty Heel Snipe reversals and 8 difficulty Feline Spikes, I don't think it's absurd to say they could pass a 10 difficulty Jaguar Thousand. Oh, and one more thing Archimedes...
THE WIELDER OF MIRACULOUSLY MYSTIC POWERS!
Yeah...bet we all forgot that card huh? XD
as i found out the first time i faced jaguar thousand, if it hits, you die.

Pretty much. I got my set, and then almost never use them.
With the June/July bannings, myM Donovan deck lost seventeen cards, and it doesn't bother me much. The only one I'll miss is Forethought =/
But that's okay. There's other ways for me to do my dirty work =D

lol i think that was my fault : P
also though yeah stained honor or even iga legacy helps pass the control check that deck was one of my best when it was built and its only downfall was rejection and about face
with rejection gone i think i can make it worth while again although i think air has taken a major fall from the top

No I haven't forgotten miraculously mystic powers... I'm just not allowed to run it in decks anymore... although it would have looked awesome as a league foil.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about Adon is his two abilities are perfectly synergistic. Although having 10 momentum at 1 times sounds demanding, it's going to mean a lot when you're giving every attack you play +20 speed and pass every single Jaguar Thousand instantly.
*sigh* **** sets before set 10 for not sharing all symbols with their characters. Water Adon sounds fun =/

as i found out from the last regional i went to having 10 momentum isnt really anything when they are have ira-spinta wrecking your stagin area...its pretty much the only way i have to pass jaguar thousand playing against that deck

"K, i Jaguard Thousand you in the face for free. Do you want to go first or second game 2?"

i think an air water hybrid adon could probably do pretty well now that rejections gone, and no one uses turnabout anyway.
The way I see it, Adon could pretty much use Jaguar Thousand as his only attack, and simply pass it through a wall of control. With Rejection gone, Adon can fill up his staging area with Chinese Boxings (by using Clean Rematch to tutor), tap any Holding Grounds and Spiritual Centers, and then let the game go =).
I'm brainstorming. I've come up with a Fire Adon that uses Reverse Flayer, Jaguar Thousand, Midnight Launcher, and Knight Breaker. Talk about excessive XD.
I could certainly work. Adon-4 was my first thought when I started thinking about what the bans opened up -- my first question to one of my friends was, "What Powerful attacks are there on Air Fire or Water?"
I'm starting to hesitate, though. Does Adon set up his fatal Jaguar 1000 faster than other decks can set up their equally badass OHKOs? Can he build a more effective control base to protect his kill? Can he defend himself more effectively, both against OHKOs and things like Midnight Breaker combo?
Honestly, who knows the answers to those questions. Adon could be dangerous, but I'm not gonna build him :]
Does Earth have anything like The Gorgeous Team? Promo Gen could work, but that could be very risky against a OHKO, and it's quite unsubtle otherwise. "Okay, he just picked up a high block, so I probably shouldn't try to throw a Midnight Launcher without speed pumps or discard backing it up."
Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but Adon has access to Healer against OHKO's as well as Fight or Flight, which doubles as an additional way to make Jaguar Thousand fatal.

Powerful 2
But it has a monkey on it.
Promo Gen = amazing symbol spread, and best 7hs-vitality ratio
