Bombs and stress

By Tiggyloo, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Hi all,

I can't find anything about the ruling if it is possible to drop a bomb when you are stressed. I assume proximity mines aren't possible since it is an action to drop them and you can't take actions while being stressed, but seismic charges or proton bombs...... as far as I know, thats no action. For ion I guess it is not possible because you don't reveal a dial and that was part of the bomb dropping rules a thought.

And for the bonus points: a bomb can be dropped on a obstacle token?

Thanks in advance.

Francis

Pretty much correct on all counts.

And for the last: Same approach as the others. If you land on/cross an obstacle, you lose your action and will give up the chance to drop a Prox Mine... but there are no obstacle-related limits for the others.

This came up tonight for the first time in my experience.

Miranda landed on a debris field. Next round, she dropped a Seismic on a sweet swarm of Scyks who had already moved in right behind her, while stressed and sitting on debris. My opponent didn't think that was possible. I wasn't sure, but could think of no rule that denied it. So I did it anyway.
