This is a build I put together because I got two new A wings recently, and I can't decide between Outmanuver and Predator as my EPTs. Here's the build:

Jake Farrell (26) - AWTP, Refit, VI, Outmanuver

Gemmer Sojan (23) - AWTP, Refit, Predator

Blue Squadron Pilot (25) - Advanced Sensors

Blue Squadron Pilot (25) - Advanced Sensors

Total: 99

As you can see I put Outmanuver on one and Predator on the other since I can't decide, but what do you guys think? Should I swap them, switch both to one or the other?

I also like that it's at 99 points so my 9 Pilot Skill Jake should get initiative on most VI Whispers.

Edit: For those that care, the name comes from Blue + Gemmer = Blue Gem = Sapphire

I like guarantees in general (dice are...unreliable) and while Outmanuever is not RNG based, it is also not something you can guarantee will have the necessary impact to justify 3 points

For the reason, I much prefer Predator. It works all the time (provided you have a shot)

Now if you have PTL, then Predator becomes a little less valuable to me because you can stack target-lock on top of your first action and Outmanuever becomes more valuable because you can boost (or roll--yay Jakes!) into proper position

Yeah, I'd love to slap PtL on Jake, but I feel like I need that PS 9 to counter Phantoms

Your argument for Predator vs Outmanuever makes sense though.
