I need some suggestions on what to buy my friends.
I would like to buy a solid fleet and not over buy one ship.

Most wanted With one star viper is an eas way in that doesn't cost too much with lots of options. Especially if you already have. Firespray, hwk, or y-wing.
If you don't want to overbuy any ships, I think you should probably look through all the spoilers, find some squads you're interested in running, and buy accordingly. For example, I'm mostly interested in Dual Aggressors with Autothrusters, so all I really needed was 2 Aggressors and a StarViper. If you already have some Y-wings and you want a squad of 4 Scum Y-wings, pick up 2x Most Wanted. You could fly a kitted-out M3-A squad with 4x M3-As and not necessarily buy anything else.

There was a good article/blog on the Team Covenant site regarding what to buy for Wave 6. However, I don't have the link handy at the moment.
My suggestion would be 2 of everything, including going and getting a second HWK (and Firespray when you can find one).
I preordered 1 Most Wanted, 2 IG-2000, 2 M3-A Interceptors and 1 StarViper. After looking things over, I decided I want a second Most Wanted and a second StarViper.
The trick with IG-2000 is you almost have to have 2 of them, I'm not sure how effective just one would be.

This is what I did, only I got one StarViper. The other I'll get from the FLGS. Even picked up my second HWK (which I didn't think I'd ever do)

I'm toying with some lists right now that I think could do well with a single Aggressor. I think having 2 is default mode, but I think there are ways you can make it work with just one. Having 2 looks like a good deal so you can have two abilities, but you're locking yourself into a very specific 2-ship build just because you want to use that title.
Granted, running two Aggressors is fun and very thematic, so I'm really glad I got 2, but I think 1 could still be viable. Just forget the title and treat it like the Firespray. I mean, Slave I is a 0-cost title, but nobody feels compelled to pack proton torpedoes just because of that.

If you have more cash to spend, I'd do this instead:

To be honest I'm not planing on getting any so I've never really looked at how effective a solo IG-2000 would be.

What do you mean "Second" HWK-290? Some of us have 4...
the only thing that makes wave 6 expensive is IG-2000 hogging all the cool illict upgrades
wana fly an 8 headhunter feedback swarm? better buy 8 igs

84 igs
They come with 2 copies of Feedback Array, so you only need 4, which is nice since that's the most number of Aggressors you can run, seeing as there are only 4 unique pilots and no generics. (And obviously I'm talking Epic play with the 4-Aggressor builds.)

ah apologies. the wiki must be off
4 is a much more reasoned number ![]()

Otherwise, you're flying normal ships with just legal upgrades. You may as well play Rebel for that.
