Anyone else get the sneaking suspicion that "Fulcrum" (the hooded figure that Hera is working with) is going to turn out to be Ashoka Tano?
Star Wars Rebels
is going to turn out to be Ashoka Tano?
That's what some people think yeah. The markings on one of the crates they picked up had what looked like her face markings on it.
I've been thinking that Fulcrom, who seems more well connected than Ahsoka is, might be her guy friend... who's name I have somehow forgotten. *quickly searches google* Lux Bonteri.

I'm a couple episodes behind right now, has fulcrum actually appeared on camera now?

A hooded figure claiming to be Fulcrum has. I think everyone may be right about who it is.
Edited by TopHatGorillaDo we have a picture? I did a google search and couldn't find one.
Thanks
Or it could be Mon Motha.
I don't think its Ahsoka. Because first off, why? Everyone wants the characters and stories from the Clone Wars to continue, but Disney has made it pretty clear that that series is over and done. That along with their attempt to gloss over and forget about the prequels and focus only on the original trilogy, makes me doubt that Fulcrum is any character from the prequels. Additionally, now that we have seen Fulcrum on camera, we can be pretty certain its not Ahsoka because every other time we have seen Ahsoka with her hood up, they have drawn her with obvious "horn bumps." So unless they either, a) changed the logical and established way of drawing a character-which would be stupid, or, b) reveal she either lost her horns somehow or hot a smaller head, it is not Ahsoka. My argument against it being Ahsoka doesn't even take into account that when last we saw Ahsoka, she was pretty disenfranchised with the Jedi and the republic. The chances of her joining the Rebels and achieving a leadership role is unlikely. I think a more likely candidate for Fulcrum would one of the following, Mon Mothma, Garm Bel Iblis(I know he's no longer cannon but I always liked him) or Bail Organa.
This could be the answer, so it's wrapped up in a spoiler tag:
On 2/8, people discovered that Olivia Luccioni's online resume (she voices Ahsoka in french) listed this:
But now if you go to her resume http://luccioni.olivia.free.fr/divers/CV-Olivia-Luccioni.pdf , it's gone. I checked the pdf's creation date, and it's 2/9, the day after the leak.

I doubt that is legitimate. She would probably not have listed who a character she played is disguised as. She also would have spelled the name correctly.

I guess I might be wrong about Fulcrum not being Ahsoka.
I just want Ahsoka because I want Vader to finish her off.

Or convert her to the Dark Side.....

Except holotransmissions can be faked or forged. This was pleasantly set up in the Tarkin book. Do I still think it is her? Maybe.
Edited by SwWhiskeyTears87Well you know, isn't there still an outstanding female villain to be in ep7?
Now that would be cool. Vader captures Ahsoka and turns her into an inquisitor.
Wasn't Hera working with Fulcrum before the "Droids in Distress" episode? I think I remember that. If so, then that means that they have been working with Fulcrum before Bail Organa knew about them. If Bail didn't know about Hera's cell, then neither did Mon Mothma or Garm Bel'Iblis (assuming he still exists) and so it can't be any of them.
but Disney has made it pretty clear that that series is over and done.
True, but that doesn't mean you throw out what seems to be a well liked character not if there's some way of including them in future products.
A lot of people weren't happy with how Ahsoka left the show, and while not everyone liked her, most did I believe. So it makes sense to bring her back if they can. It's not like they could or even should write off all the CW characters.
There is next to no chance that Vader will kill her though, not in this show anyway. While they were quite willing to off people in the CW, I don't see that happening in Rebels.

That's the impression I had yes. That Hera had been working with Fulcrum since before Ezra joined the crew even.
Edited by VanorDMThere is Ahsoka Tano book on the way. And while a great many people want to forget about the Prequel movies, a great many more people (including Rebels' core audience) grew up with Clone Wars being their Star Wars experience. It's a delicate balancing act.
My money, BTW, is on Fulcrum being Ahsoka. And her death in the next episode will be the catalyst for the formation of the Rebel Alliance.

Well, that would answer the "Who Will Fall?" question at the end of this trailer (which looks awesome, btw):
A lot of people weren't happy with how Ahsoka left the show.
Really? I LOVED the way she left the show. It kinda justified the character's entire existence. I was very impressed that they were willing to do that.
Yeah, that was a great story. And added another great reason for Anakin's turn. Which is why I want her to return and try to redeem Anakin and fail. It will really emphasis how important Luke is to his redemption.
I just hope that IF Ahsoka shows up this episode, that she doesn't die. I'd hate to see her both debut, and die, within the same 30 minute episode. Especially because if she is revealed, it likely won't be until the end, so we'll get to see her for a whopping 30 seconds before she's dead. I really want enough screen time to at least justify an action figure.
