I will likely be rocking a dual IG-88 list, but I have no idea what to expect from the other 25 odd players! (Except one, he ALWAYS fly's a 7 TIE swarm)
Scum has landed in Calgary! With a store championship in 2 days...
Dual-IG's are my guess for the most common, as it's a pretty easy build. Other people have talked often of mass warthogs (title Y-wings) and Scum Boba with a friend.
A 4-Y-wing Scum squad took first in our 3-round mini-tournament last night. It seems to be a decent build.

My lgs told me even if he gets it today won't be able to sell it till the 27

well, considering FFG just posted an article saying Scum is available, I'm going with today. :-)
I got my Scyks in advance of the rest, so I played a 4 Scyk build through a few games. Tansarii Vets with Calculation and Mangler Cannons, with Serissu, Swarm Tactics, and Mangler. It was ok. It was fairly obnoxious against a TIE Fighter list, creamed a Decimator, but took it in the shorts against some twin Firesprays (Kath/Emmon). I wouldn't consider it a good list and the Scyk is superfrail when you start talking the 20+ point versions. The dial was pleasant enough, sorta between a TIE and a Interceptor (honestly, what I think the TIE/Adv dial probably should have been), and the models looked way nicer in person than they did in the previews. I just don't think Scyk spam will ever be a good idea. A one-off with a Cannon for 20-22 pts, sure. 4 of them? Good luck.

In the Low Countries it generally takes two weeks after release in the US to see the arrival of new stuff.
