Trueshot - Large Monster - Pit
Yes he is in the pit, and suffers the consequences, assuming that the use of Trueshot has moved the Barghest completely into the pit.
Since the Barghest is a 1x2 creature, I am assuming the pit is at least 1x2, and the Barghest is fully in the pit.
Edit: And just to be clear, it doesn't matter that you (the OL) moved the monster into the pit, or a hero with a weapon, ability, etc. moved the monster into the pit. The same would apply if you as the OL had an ability (such as knockback) and moved a hero into the pit.

Indeed.
Every time the Barghest moves, when it stops, it has "ended its movement" wherever it is now. Regardless of whether or not it's the OL's turn, or what effect was making it move. So yes, the Barghest falls into the pit immediately.
Compare and contrast this to the rules for Lava, which say a figure is defeated upon ending their turn in a Lava space. If a figure is forced to move into Lava, he doesn't get defeated until his next turn comes and goes, assuming he's still on the Lava at that time. However, this is because it triggers at "end of turn," not "end of movement."
