Not sure if this has been discussed to death before but... What would be your favorite squad if you could mix factions at will? Any crazy game-breaking combos? Anyone more creative than Biggs with a Howlrunner swarm?

I really thought there would be some really game-breaking combos but have not come up with too many yet. Phant-Han would be annoying as Hades but I can't find a real synergy that would throw off balance completely. Anyone tried free-for-all faction agnostic games before?

Maybe add Biggs into that

Jonus with 4 Bandits with cluster missiles and still 14 points to spare

Dutch with Interceptors

big difference is that Han is a far bigger pain in the ass than Chiraneau

By the time you have killed Biggs and Howl, the Alphas would have torn you apart.

A squad with all heavy (fighter)bomber / heavy ordinance carrying ships together.

1 Bomber with Jonus, together with Hired Gun BTL-A4 Y-wing with Bomb loadout, and a Dagger Squadron B-wing, maybe with crew. Something along the lines of these.

The local store periodically runs a tournament - 2 ship minimum from different factions. 59 points max, and all faction restrictions are removed. 12 asteroids. It keeps things kind of in check but is still TONS of fun. I believe one of the more successful squads was soontir and wedge. Biggs walks the ties didn't do so hot. And han as crew on boba fetts ship was just plain hilarious. "shaddup back there!"

At 100 points I think things get silly... But its just fun at lower point levels. Cant wait fr the next one which will have scum!

I'd have Kavil with an engine upgrade, unhinged astro, VI and ion turret.

Echo with advanced sensors, VI, ACD, and Navigator

and Coran with R2D2, FCS, Lone Wolf. and engine upgrade - or maybe Wedge with a similar loadout - or maybe Tycho

way over 100 pts but seeing as we're breaking the rules anyway......
