Wait until you're buying toys for your kids instead of yourself... that's a fun day.

I was going to say the same thing. Nothing has hurt my gaming more then the kids, lol.

Which is why I'll wait to clone myself, kids are fine as long as you can return them back to their keepers.

A friend of mine used his kids as an excuse to buy and play with LEGO again.

Kids are fun to start with, though the sleep deprivation can get interesting, they get more fun as they get older. As for monies, I second the efficient lighting, you can have heat if you have insulation. A space heater can make one small place very nice cheaper than heating everything. Make as much of your own food as you can, and buy your groceries at Walmart if there is one handy. That trick alone has out hundreds back in my monthly budget. Also don't Cary a balance on your credit cards if you can avoid it. Credit card interest rates are brutal when you have good credit and lots of payment history, they are pure evil before that.

Also if you are near your parents you can often get a free meal and laundry by visiting them every week or two.
