I have scene some ships have the Empire symbol painted on them. How did you do that? Its so small, did you make a cutout or something? I am not a great painter but want to little painting on some of my Empire ships and putting the symbol on would be cool.

Another company does rebel imperial and scum... check ebay and look for nail art star wars decals.. should get you close..

Yup.. same company I used... got rebs, black and red.. imps and scum.. may go get the VW emblems and put those an a firespray.. lol

And get a bottle of decal set "I think it's just vinegar and water" but it make the decal mold into nooks and tight places. Then I put a little clear finger nail polish on them so they don't rub off.

Decals are indeed the way to go. A bit of self promotion, but here is a blog post I wrote on how I deal with them.
