hi,

i have a player who play a DAN deck with a "combo",

he puts on the card pool the zhao daiyu's poison touch and next he plays the dan's dragon punch for his Enhance.

he says that with the zhao poison touch and the player against him lost 14 vitality (4 for the zao and 10 for the punch) for the attacks and again 14 vitality cause of the trait of zao daiyu's poison touch.

the texts of the cards:

zhao daiyu: while this card is in your card pool, if your opponent would gain vitality due to a card effect, discard this card from your card pool to have them lose X vitality instead. X equals the amount of vitality they would have gained.

dan's dragon punch: E: if this attack deals damage, commit all cards, discard all momentum, and return each player to their character's maximum vitality. cards committed by this ability may not readied until after your next turn.

so for me there is not gain of vitality ("return each player to their maximum vitality) so no combo, i am right or not ?

key words in Dragon punch is 'RETURN to their maximum vitality', not "each player gains X vitality, x equals their maximum vitality minus their current" if it was worded the latter then yes it would work, but Nope ZD Poison Touch has no interaction with the card whatsoever.
