With so many threads on what paints to use what shocks me is that we don't have is a list of what paints match up for what.

So this thread should/could be used for that.

Eg we have a thread where people have asked what colors closely matched what.

Based on that here is what I have so far.

Imperial:

Imperial grey (Eggs): A mixture of Cote D'arms

Cote D'arms mid grey, with a blue glaze of half Cote d'arms ink wash blue, and half water.

Decimator

Hull = Vallejo: Medium Sea grey 70.870

GW: ?

?: ?

Yt series

Hull = Vallejo: Green grey 70.971

GW: ?

?: ?

Cote d'arms the name of the paint? Got numbers perhaps?

Know if any other paints would be equivalent?

Cote D'arms is the brand name. Dirt cheap. Its actually the original citadel line rebranded. Decent enough quality.

I just use reapers clear red, blue, yellow, black, and white, and just mix my colors. It's not very convenient, but it's inexpensive and I'm use to it from doing fine art stuff. I found it's pretty easy to match the base color of X-wings, Y-wings and E-wings with a light gray and a tiny bit of yellow. Imperial are grey with a bit of blue.
