Almost head a breakdown picking up Wave 6

So I went up to Coolstuff today to pick up my Wave 6 order. They told me it wasn't showing up... but I KNOW I already paid. I pulled up the order number on my phone and they say "Oh, That's why it didn't show up, you selected shipping when you ordered it, so it's being shipped to your home". I almost had a meltdown - I was gonna have to wait like another day or two, which is a #firstworldproblem that I just can't handle.

So the manager was able to go in the back and grab my stuff out of the shipping queue (The warehouse is actually connected to the main store, where I ordered from). Talk about a lifesaver! Love it!

YES!!! First World Problems gettin' solved! Also grats on gettin' them. Got my tracking info for my order from CSI today. So I'll have a big ol' box of awesome either Thursday or Friday to open!

Good on them for grabbing it for you. I know in the grand scheme of things it's a small concession to make, but that's really top-notch customer service compared to how lots of places would have handled it.

Next time I'm pondering an online purchase instead of my local shop, I think I'll toss them an order, as one customer's way of appreciating that flexibility they showed you.

Oh, I'm not sainting 'em or anything. I can just imagine how many places would've shrugged and said "Blah blah blah sorry blah blah blah computer blah blah blah nothing I can do," then gone about their day, y'know?

I love that store. When I'm in the area I always try to swing by there. They also have great customer service via e-mail.

I also have had good experiences with Miniature Market. I order from both. This time S&V went through MM. It may take a couple of days longer but I ordered for three people so saving the FL state tax was worth it.
