Scum Swarm

Lately I've been trying a scum swarm that I would love some feedback on.

Xizor (31)

- Virago (1)

- VI (1)

- FCS (2)

- Autothrusters

Serissu (20)

- Bodyguard (2)

Black Sun Soldier (13)x3

Total: 98

Two ways to fly this. You can either keep Xizor close to the group or use him as a flanker. If you keep him in close, he can get 4 evade dice with a reroll and absorb a ton of punishment, or as a flanker, you should be able to keep him around until late game.

What does Bodyguard do on Serissu if you have no ships with higher pilot skill. Maybe I'm confused I thought it had to target someone that way.

No, you're correct

Bodyguard here does jack and **** (but bodyguard normally is just plain awful, imo, because even if you give Xizor V.I to benefit the enemy's just going to blow Serissu out of the space sky--especially considering Xizor's ability)

Now, if you were rocking Bodyguard Palob it would make sense. Palob gives no ***** about losing focus (you did take moldy crow, right?) especially if it's stolen. You then give the enemy two sh*tty choices: 4 greens (possible defenses) or 2 greens (w/focus and re-roll), not to mention you considerably improve the headhunters' chances of hitting high agility targets by stealing defensive tokens.
