How many tokens do we need, worst case?

By WickedGrey, in X-Wing

About Tycho and stress tokens. As soon as you have more than five stress on him you might as well forget about ever having having him stress free in that game. So while the number of stress he can have is potentially infinite, I would quite frankly stop caring and just consider him permanently stressed from that point forward even if I only used green manouvers. Easier on the mind ar least.

Yes, but that's thinking practically. This thread is about the mathematic pedantry of actually figuring it out.

I'm a very practical person. ;) Besides we already have the mathematical answer, it's an infinity sign.

Not Tokens but if your WCS is "opposition doesn't share" the maximum currently need is 7 of each in a single roll.

E-Wing with R2-F2 + Stealth @ R3 through an Obstacle.

APT + Opportunist + Jan Pilot.

Practically speaking what about Epic?

Someone suggested about 60 shields and about 20 of everything else should cover it.

Epic, or Team Epic?

Good point, figure providing everything for an 800 point game.

That is Team Epic, both sides.

No

You need effectively unlimited Stress if you take certain pilots and builds.

Other than that, you need enough Shield tokens to cover as many ships as you plan on using concurrently. For many people, it'll be only the 100 point format. For others, keep enough to put everything you own on the table, complete with shield upgrades.

If you bring a Moldy Crow, you need effectively unlimited Focus tokens, just in case.

I'm sure there are other edge cases that allow you to spam one token or another in vast quantities.
