I'm getting ready to go this year (this is my first year) and I'm stocked and overwhelmed. I'm still trying to sort through the mess on the site about events.

It looks to me as though all the Descent Tickets are sold out for all the events. Descent was one of the reasons I was going to go this year. This makes me a sad Panda.

Anyway, anyone else going and maybe want to catch a game at night waiting for the next day to begin?

I'm going on Friday and Saturday. It will also be my first time. I didn't purchase any event tickets. I actually find that whole deal to be rather weird... it seems like your ticket to gencon really doesn't get you much; everything seems to cost additional money. Maybe I'm missing something, which is likely. That site is information overload.

I'm really looking forward to checking out the merchandise from all the vendors, and am hoping to pick up a copy of the Quest Compendium. I suspect it will be there.
