Hello,
I've dabbled in X-wing casually but I'm looking to start attending Tournaments. Fingers crossed I'll be attending the Sheffield Store Championship in March, provided I get the time off work. I normally fly a TIE Swarm but I've become a bit bored with it so I'd like some comments and critique on this list:
Darth Vader TIE-A (29)
Cluster Missiles (4)
Soontir Fel TIE-I (27)
Push the Limit (3)
"Whisper" TIE-P (32)
Fire Control System (2)
Veteran Instincts (1)
Stygium Particle Accelerator (2)
Whilst writing it I was trying to get each ship to perform multiple actions per turn so that I can change the play style of the list mid-game. Whisper obviously gets all the goodies just for hitting and the free evade is pretty tasty. Soontir is the glass hammer of the force and is really the Achilles heel but hopefully he'll take down some ships before going down. Vader is in there for the rule of cool and can double up his actions so fits what I was the force to do.
I'm going to try and get a few practice games in beforehand with the list as this is just theory at the moment.
How do you think it will compare to other lists?
Is it a case of 'too many eggs in one basket'?
How can it be improved?
