Just wondering how you sign up for being a TO? We have a store that wants to start star wars, but they have no one to TO? Does it have to be someone who works at the store?

There is no signing up as the TO. You just show up, know the Core Rules, FAQ, Tournament Rules and you run the event. Schedule the event with the owner of the store so they know not to have any other events at that time. For more information, I would refer you to this page. It has some important stuff at the bottom of the page, like the Tournament Resources you will need.

If you are talking about official events, you need to talk with the store owner. They can order tournament sets that only stores can order. You then get a bunch of the official prizes. You run the event and give out the prizes. Most stores will want to charge for the event to make up for what they paid for the stuff.
Yeah, Basically Cryodex is just amazing! I ran a Store Championship this past weekend and Cryodex did it all. I REALLY can not recommend that highly enough!
Also check Facebook for local groups. I know there's a Twin Cities TO group on facebook for people who run events in this area.
