If performing an attack at range 1 that hits, remove all shield tokens from the enemy ship then cancel all damage dice rolled. Then discard this card.

He rode in the Falcon, turned off the Death Stars hanger shield, and then died.

Seems like a decent idea. 5 points seems a little high, I'd go 4. Its powerful, but at most you are stripping off 5 shields of an enemy Falcon or B-wing. You have to be in range 1 and its only one time.

Unless you're flying against a Death Star, his ability is useless.

I suspect an obi wan crew would be something like

"discard this crew, Ships cannot attack you this turn, you cannot attack this turn"

He could cause you to ignore blinded pilot critical effects...

Or some sort of enhanced version of deadeye.

Once per round, the first ship that declares a friendly small ship at Range 1 to be the target of an attack must choose another target.

This little one is not worth the effort

Though how this would interact with Biggs would probably be a nightmare.

Hmm, then people would only want to kill it last but you could build knowing that.. interesting.

I think Obi-Wan's ability would have to do with helping others escape, maybe something along the lines of "You may discard this card to increase your agility by 1, then assign a focus token to your ship."?

Leia wasn't so much a space combat character either, yet we have her as a crew.

I think Obi-Wan's ability would have to do with helping others escape, maybe something along the lines of "You may discard this card to increase your agility by 1, then assign a focus token to your ship."?

Pretty good idea. But I like his "There are alternatives to fighting" quote better.
