Using only cards from the most wanted box. Including the ships that come without models and upgrade cards can belong to waves 1-5.
I can only afford that one entry into scum and looking for some good builds out of it.

Just one more die!
Depends on what you are looking for from the list (i.e casual or competition standard) and what you already have in the way of Y-wings, z95s, HWKs and Firesprays.
But here's a few that might raise a smile.
The first one I call: The Monty Python Stratagem
For this list you want to be following King Arthur's tried and trusted battleplan ...... Runaway!!!
Make your opponent chase you - ion anything that comes close and bomb the s*** out of them
Not an easy list to fly but it's got a Scummy feel to it and I reckon it would be very rewarding if you learn how you can make it work
Something a little simpler with a bit more of an immediate feel to it might look something like this:
What about this:
Kavil w/ Blaster Turret, R4 Agro, and Swarm Tactics (30)
Torkhil w/ Ion Turret, Moldy Crow, and Recon Specialist
Kaa'to w/ Hull Upgrade and Homing Missile
Black Sun Soldier w/ Hot Shot Blaster rand Munitions Failsafe
Kavil is Kavil, but he can boost someone to his PS. That can be anyone.
Torkhil piles up the Focus and fires Ion Turrets
Kaa'to is interesting here. He/she can grab a Focus token if near them. Torkhil is the obvious candidate. It works for offense or defense, but every turn (if near). I also thought that if he/she is able to get a TL on someone, then they can grab a Focus for use with a Homing Missile. Yes, it's 5 pts, but it gets a re-roll and a Focus for modification. That's great on a small craft and excellent alpha damage. I threw on a hull upgrade for greater survivability and to ensure that you get that missile off. With the free Focus and hull upgrade, he/she should stay alive a bit more.
The Black Sun Soldier is cheap, but not Predator food. Also, the MF works on the Hot Shot Blaster. So, the Z-95 may have a crappy dial, but it should always get a shot off on someone if it needs to. Have a Phantom or Soontir Fel nearby? Take that shot and maybe you hit. If not, you keep it.
