Rexler Brath and Sigma Squadron list

I'm looking for some advise on a list I'd like to run. I like Rexler Brath, I fly him fairly well, the problem is when he is out on the board, he is a big magnet. Usually the first thing people try to take out. So I came up with the following to try and provide other possible targets that are just as dangerous if not more so than brath.

Rexler Brath + Determination

Sigma Squadron + Tactician + Advanced Cloaking Device

Sigma Squadron + Sensor Jammer + Stygmium Particle Accellerator

I could put Advanced Cloaking Device on both Sigma Squadron pilots, which could free up Brath for Predator.

Thoughts on any tweaks? I know Sigma Squadron isn't run much if at all in tournaments, but I'd really like to get Brath to the board in a competitive manner. Not sure if the current meta allows it though.

I ran a similar squad which was Soontir + 2 shadow squadrons and took 2nd out of 20 on Saturday. Full squad was:

Soontir w/ PtL + Stealth Device (33)

2x Shadown Squadron 2/ SPA + Tactician + FCS (2x33)

total 99 points.

If I were to do it again, I'd drop the Shadows down to Sigma's. The only PS5 benefit was against Chewie.

I'd probably then change the FCS to Tactical Jammer.

The biggest thing with the generic phantoms is how you have to fly them. In a timed match, you have to balance aggression and self-preservation. In my games, the Phantoms were always the first to die. As for if SPA or ACD is better, it depends on your local meta. Where I am, there are lots of fat turrets, so ACD would have been useless. Most likely with 2 phantoms on the board, your opponent will try and take them out first.

As for strategy, take out the most expensive ships first, because you will most likely lose at least one phantom every game, maybe both. You need as much MoV as possible in case you lose.

All that said, I had a lot of fun with my squad. Played one of the most fun games to date with it. It was super exciting (and a bit stressful) to play with as I was riding the razor's edge every game.
