I just realized the Armada miniatures are the perfect size for those old WWII era war tables:

Now I want to find a star spangled floor, set up battle groups, gravity wells, jump points, and wage a system sized battle.

I'm very excited to make some objectives. Asteroids and space stations to start. A small shipyard would be cool too.

True true, wouldn't even dream of it! Barely escaped the fury of the Lady Vader the other day. Hahaha!

Then again, how portable would something like that be? Not very, I'd imagine?

Which is why in the end I still stick with my $5 felt table... I do like to add 3-D elements such as asteroids and such.
