Just tried this list out on vassal, and it was a blast to fly:

N'dru Suhlak - Predator, Cluster Missiles, Inertial Dampeners

5x Black Sun Soldier - Feedback Array

Setup is a block of 5 Z's in one corner, N'dru in the other. First turn is normally a slow roll to see which side the opponent goes to, then either set up a joust or a flank.

Conclusions:

-N'dru can throw 8 dice in one turn, plus rerolls with Predator, if you can plan it right. It can be pretty devastating, but unfortunately I didn't get to try it (he got one-shot at Range 3, the dice gods weren't happy with me.)

-Feedback array with a block of Z's is fantastic. It allows you to pick a ship to kill in one fell swoop if within range 1. Either using the feedback array if it is a high agility ship, or throwing 15 dice if it is a low agility ship.

-Getting out of predator range for only 5 points is absolutely worth it.

Has anyone else tried this out?

You should probably use Lone Wolf on Ndru.

How's N'Dru get to roll 8 dice in a turn ?

Cluster missiles + his ability means 4 dice twice (so long as he's away from his team.)

The other version of this that I considered was:

N'Dru Suhlak - Lone Wolf, Cluster Missiles, Engine Upgrade, Hot Shot Blaster

5x Binayre Pirate - Feedback Array

Also, I'm not sure why I didn't have Lone Wolf on him in the first place... So change the first list to Lone Wolf + Dead Man's Switch instead
