When do you think we'll see the rules up in Support?

By MrDodger, in Star Wars: Armada

With it being on the boat now, and actually popping up in a few random places, it would be great to have the full rules to peruse.

Having read them I can say they seem to be well done with loads of illustrations (just as in X-Wing). And having them on PDF and readilyavailable on iPad etc will help find those keywords when needed

Absolutely. I have all the rule set PDFs on my iPad for that exact reason.

Not that I'm saying it's end-all-be-all. But having rules/systems presented on a well maintained wiki, like Infinity (Corvus Belli, not Disney), has been even more helpful than pdfs. At least to me.

while I agree, it is crucial to the wiki for the rules to released in order for it be completeted in the first place

Depends on who owns the wiki. But I haven't seen FFG say anything about doing it, so I imagine we'll have to crowd source... if thats even "legal". I don't know why it isn't done more often, though. It's /so/ useful. And in the infinity wiki, you can pose questions about uncovered or ambiguous situations on each rule page, and they will officaly answer them and comit them to the rules.

I think what he is getting at is how can we crowd source the rules, if we don't know what they are because no PDF is out? Yes we can piece together bits from articles but we would still rely on someone with a full set to fill in the gaps whether it is a hard copy or a PDF

If we (community) wants to do it. We have to start somewhere. Apperently some of the forum users already have the full rulebook. But there is a thread someone made with a lot of information in it. Even pictures of the different tokens.

Is there another source of rules out there that aren't speculation?
