Finally got the pics of the baby TIE, feed him well and he might grow up to a full size TIE fighter or even an Advanced!

There are a lot of things going on in your Re-paints that I really like.

The Black works well for the Imperials as it always looks menacing.

and the purple doesn't look out of place and different to the standard red.

They look like some sort of Special Op's Squadron

And the small detail in the grime and rust on models like the Decimater give it a great "Work Horse" look about it.

i like purple.

Thought about making my imperials purple/black but with the colors reversed compared to yours. Black marks instead of purple marks, purple main body.

Already painted like 4000+ points of Tau in purple might as well keep going with the theme lol

and i must add, youre making me want to clean off my art desk and start painting again. I havnt painted anything in a few months...the Ta'unar i painted a few months back kinda burned me out (fether is over a foot tall and very wide lol)

My second Raider (my friend wanted Palpatine and Advanced upgrades but not the Raider itself so I got it cheaply), most likely Impetuous as it has ordnance, a sensor array on top of the bridge, and also a scanner/radar dome on the fore.

I tried the panel liner on this, the result is somewhat cartoonish but I like it.

I modified the weaponry a bit. I cut off the original batteries and used the hatches to reveal ordnance. The missile/torpedo heads are from a modern 1/144 scale aircraft kit, they are bomb and missile heads.

I'm sorry, mate! Go ahead, buy a Raider, sell Uncle Palp for a good price to cut off some of the cost if needed.

Actually I had been planning for some time to buy a second Raider and sell the extra stuff I didn't need but it happened the other way around.
