Show us your Scum!

By patox, in X-Wing

Guys, I'd really appreciate if I could get these things in a high quality scans (no cell phone pic, unless taken in very well lit condition, no flash, no sleeve) of these:

-generic S&V HWK pilot card at pilot skill 1

-generic S&V Y-Wing pilot card at pilot skill 4

-generic S&V M3-A Tansarii Point Veteran at pilot skill 5

-Calcuation elite upgrade card

Bonus requests (less of a priority)

-back of Salvaged astromech upgrade card

-back of illicit ugrade card

-back of S&V pilot card

Thanks a lot in advance!

Thanks for remembering :)

The thing's basically a tie fighter, so I don't know if we could expect much more

The Z is really the scum Tie Fighter, this is much more the scum, well, interceptor. 15 maneuvers, 6 of them green is definitely an interceptor dial now, which back when it was first spoiled, is what I said I was expecting, so I am very happy now.

I'd say the Z is really scum's Z

The Scyk Interceptor is more of a Tie Fighter

The differences between the Z and Tie are quite massive despite the same point cost.

I would say that the Scyk is the hybrid child of a Tie Fighter, a A-Wing and a Z-95.

-The Hull of a A-Wing and Z with some shield but total hit point of a Tie Fighter.

-Dial close to a Tie Fighter but you add the 1 banks of the Z, more green like the A-Wing and the k-turns of the A-Wing but you keep the max speed of a Z

-Agility of the Tie and A-Wing, same attack as all 3

-The action bar of the Tie Fighter with the TL from the A-Wing and Z

-Cost over the Tie and Z but not quite the same as the A-Wing

-Has the possibility to equip missiles like the Z and A but also torpedoes or a cannon, to put it in competition with the Interceptors

Yup, very interesting little ship we got here!

I'm confused . . . how does the Scyk have a 5-K, but not a 5-straight? Makes sense from a design perspective, but from an in-game perspective . . . what? It can go faster as long as it's also flipping around? It draws energy from pilot heart attacks?

Hobojebus: Can you tell us what the mission is in the Most Wanted Pack? I realize it's the least popular part, but in the words of Luke... I care.

Same deal is going on for the TIE Bomber. Lack of 5 straight, only 5 k-turn is present. In my head, I explain it with momentum, tough to beat due to great speed, or great mass.

I got my 2x each of Starviper, Scyk and Aggressor from Wayland Games on Saturday, just waiting on my Most Wanted.

I found the Agressor engine arms to feel a little fragile at the connection point.

There is no mission in most wanted sadly mate just a folded page listing contents and showing the z-95s an y-wings dial.

:(

Thanks for letting me know gently.

What is the name of the PS4 Y wing pilot?

And the PS 1 HWK?

Posted those already.

I don't own either a scanner or a high pixel camera i doubt my phones camera will give the quality you want.

Could any of you folks with the Aggressor give us any details on the mission included?

I'm willing to sacrifice quality for speed. If your cell's camera above 2 MP (which in all likelihood, it is) and you're careful about not taking a perspective shot, but a frontal one, I'll take what I can get :)

It is a 3 player mission - one of each faction

There are some one use bonuses for the leader ship of the factions

Last one standing is the winner

I can correct a perspective shot if necessary.

That Scyk dial is wrong, it also has green banks :D

Edit: I dont have mine yet, though a few people in the UK do, via Amazon.

Still no Green Turns. Still not an impressive dial.

Indeed, it is "only" very good

The thing's basically a tie fighter, so I don't know if we could expect much more

It trades 3 Turns for 1 Green Banks and a 4K for a 5K. The dial is somewhere between Tie Interceptor and a Z-95.

And that is just the thing. I don't think we all know where it fits. It's point cost is between Academy and Chardan Prototype Yet it is not as maneuverable as other Interceptors and you can't take as many as you would Academy pilots.

6 green maneuvers is okay, PTL without green turns maybe then again you will need the 17 point T Point Veteran + engine upgrade so that would be 25 points for a S&V equivalent to a PTL Green and it has 1 less shield. Also no green turns makes it rather sluggish in turns for a PTL interceptor.

Lets face it this ship is sort of in a weird limbo. I am sure we will find some roles for it, I just don't think it will be swarmy kind or the flanker kind.

Did I miss the details on the remaining unspoiled ships--eg, PS4 y-wing, etc? Can't find them :/

They're in the new version of vassal.

Y-wing: hired gun, ps4, cost 20

HWK: spice runner, ps1, cost 16

Incidentally, I no longer need help for the art I requested.

Nah, it just fly differently than the other two interceptors we have (Tie Interceptor and A-Wing). You can't just put PtL on it and instantly expect wonders. And I don't think overequiping it (like giving it an Engine Upgrade) is the solution. A Tansarii with PtL cost 20 pts, same as a Green, a Cartel Pilot 14, just one below the Prototype. I definetly see a swarm of those ships as being a viable option, like the current A-Wing. Serissu can help with the defense if you intend on flying them in formation.

When comparing it to the other two Interceptors (and thinking about giving it PtL), the first thing that come to mind is the lack of green Turn 2, it does hurt it. But, when I see the green Bank 1, I can't help but remember all those time flying with a Tie Interceptor that this maneuver would have been perfect to stay in the fight just one more turn instead of going away to return next turn. Having access to both the 1 and 2 bank as green maneuver is huge, it gives the player much more control when dealing with stress.

So, I can definetly see this ship fulfilling the same role as a A-Wing: a cheap flanker or part of a swarm of little buggers. It has it's own distinction to make it a unique ship instead of just a clone of the A-Wing. I like it.

]Proof i am neither insane or a liar, and that i dont make my bed :)

I see proof that you are neither a liar or that you don't make your bed... I see no proof of your mental state though. ;)

The generic PS 2 with a mangler is also 20 points :)

Now I'm no fan of green dice (imagine that) but that ship tempts me in a way that the Alpha Interceptor never did

I'm not sold on it. Maybe that's because I have yet to have an Alpha not get blown up the first time someone shoot at it, but I think I would prefer being able to Focus and Evade and act at PS5 with a Tansarii PtL or just go the cheaper route and not equiping cannon.

But I'll definetly give it a try. It might actually surprise me.

If anyone has the ability to scan the Aggressor mission, I'd love to see it!

Today is the official release date of Wave 6. Who'd ever thought they'd be this excited about Scum?

Some of us still don't have it at our FLGS. Show us the Scum and Villainy. How about some ships? How are the paint jobs?
