Store tour list? -newbie

Ok I'm new to this, since I started in november I've played now and again. And since the game is fun, I've experimented pretty much all the time. It's first the recent week I finally got all ships too, only had a few to start with.Haven't even tried all. Point is I haven't been able to find a working list. I've signed up for a tournament tomorrow and still haven't decided. Tried a defensive Chewie Falcon + E-wing Corran and it work so-so, Chewie lacks way too much firepower imo. Plus a Falcon is pretty clumsy to fly.

My strength so far (even if I'm losing) is I at least can fly pretty good, and surprising. I'm not used to fly formations, and I think it's pretty boring. So I'm aiming for a list where the ships can fly apart.

I've come down to this right now:

Keyan + ptl + adv.s + hlc

Z bandit

Z bandit

Wedge + r2d2 + vi

The two Z's can block Keyan if they have to. The point with Wedge instead of two cheaper ships, is the list then have two major targets, so the enemy has to worry about two of them, and not just one. Wedge can also fly off on his. I could also skip ptl, and use a lone wolf on wedge. I do contemplate on using autoblaster instead of hlc, if at range one autoblaster should do a lot of damage.

I do like the A-wings and E-wings as well, since they fly so well. A-wings have sh*tty firepower though at higher cost than bandits

What's your thoughts??

I defintely think that's a a solid list, I wouldn't recommend Lone Wolf over using PTL in this list Keyan loves to eat stress and having ptl guarantees he'll have one to use.

I'd also suggest keeping the HLC if you're keeping PTL for the reason of that you're guranteed 4 red dice at any range and that's going to definetly see it's fair share of eyeballs.

Being able to fly well is hugely important so believe me that's a good thing, keeping out of arcs is half the battle- sacrifices to the dice gods is the other half ;)

Thanks! Fear those phantoms, and in that case this list is a bit week. I could possibly instead throw in a hawk with ion turret instead of the bandits, just to get one ship which can fire outside of arc.

Phantoms cause a proble for every list so that's not unique ;)

Ion is hated by everyone however so that's a good addition to your list and will help against the Phantom menace and all other arc dodgers for that matter so it's down to your local meta really.

If you know you're going to see arc dodgers and phantoms, defintely take the HWK with ion turret.

Wes would move after phantoms, can strip tokens and cause stress, then farlander can roll 5 dice at it, if necessary.
