I've yet to place any orders. While I like some of S&V I'm most likely not getting all (at least not initially) of it so choices will have to be made.

What to take though...

Most Wanted is a given, it will allow for a viable third faction even if only for casual.

The IG88's I'm not interested in. The ship itself doesn't sway me nor do the upgrades that come with it. Those that do also come with other ships.

The Scyk and StarViper, I'm not likely going to fly those based on estethics alone, the Scyk maybe but the StarViper looks like Rorschach had some intimate run-ins with a metal butterfly. I never liked Xizor either so I'll not be getting it for the lore.

But those upgrades...

The Mangler and Flechette cannons seem nice, but I think I can manage to do without them for a while.

StarViper it is much as I dislike the ship, Autothrusters, Accuracy Corrector, the Inertial Dampener and last but certainly not least that enticing Calculation...

Most wanted only, bought a Hawk finally for this faction. That is it. Will proxy the cards I want. I am not interested at all in the rest of the S&V ships. Saving the cash for the Raider.

If you're not buying the rest of the ships, how are you able to actually field Scum?

Erm I've already got a Hawk, Firespray, Y wing and 2 Z95s, plus the ships in most wanted, surely enough for a squad there.

I've only got Most Wanted on pre-order, and have no plans of getting any of the other ships. I already have a HWK and a couple of Rebel Z-95s. I figure I'll be able to do some Scum if I like.

That said, I'll still probably play Empire most of the time. In fact, I'll be able to put Andrasta on Imperial Kath, if I like.

Assuming he already has a Y-wing and Slave-1, he'll be able to do a lot with just a MW pack & a HWK. Thats 2 Z95s, 2 Ys, 1 FS31, 1 HWK.

I'm incredibly excited for Xizor. I basically force myself to include one high impact character in every squad because I love the variety they bring to their escort of generics, but almost all of them are fragile for their cost and prone to horrible dice. Same plan for me, a most wanted pack and a Starviper for the upgrades, that should do it for a casual scum list. I really like the idea and how the IG88 works in the game, but the design of the ship is not doing it for me. I will have to meet the ship a few times in battle, to experience if its flies in such a way, that I can not help but get it! Same for the Scyk, the design is just to meh!

I'll be getting 2 most wanted, 2 Aggressors, and probably one Star Viper. I'll hold of on Scyks for a bit. If I field Scyks, it'll probably be 5 at a time, and I don't have that kind of money right now.

I only ordered 1x Most Wanted, 1x StarViper, and 2x Aggressors. I'm really interested in dual Aggressor lists. But I'm thinking maybe I'll buy 2 M3-As and a Shuttle when I go to pick up my preorder from my FLGS.
