How to stop Phantoms, Fat Hans, and Dash lists

Patrol Leader:

Mara Jade

Tactician

Tactician

Rear Admirla Chrianeau:

Rebel Captive

Tactician

Mercenary Copilot

First ship to shoot the Admiral takes a stress, if he has you in arc and shoots you, you get a stress. If he is range three he can roll a hit to a crit and if he is range 1-2 he gets his free eyeball turned to a crit. The patrol leader at range 2 in arc will double stress you and at range 1 will stress you

well, on the plus side playing with tacticians is like preemptively practicing versus auto-thrusters

lack of engines makes all that a wee bit harder, though

would 100% hack down the merc and mara for EU and V.I on chiraneau

Always funny to see when one solution to counter the overabundance of turrets is with... even more turrets....

nope, I was wrong. Post removed.

I'm 99.9% sure you can't use two different tactitions to deal double stress on a single attack

You're 99.9% wrong.

such is the meta, such is the stupidity of turret rules <_<

at least Tactician, specifically, is an arc-related solution :P

(and they do indeed stack, since there's no restriction whatsoever mentioned in the card text nor is the card Unique)

Tactician only works inside your printed firing arc, so may not be as useful as you think.

the opening posts suggests that the author knows this already

of course, that makes the omission of EU all the more baffling considering what it does to orientate firing arcs...

That's a lot of ifs, buts and maybes.

I would amend it slightly to:

Patrol Leader (40)
Tactician (2)
Mara Jade (3)
Rear Admiral Chiraneau (46)
Veteran Instincts (1)
Tactician (2)
Rebel Captive (3)
Navigator (3)
Navigator at PS 10 spells doom for Phantoms, allows you to snuggle up close to Dash and might even work in getting the arc on a target.
The Patrol Leader you should keep as the anvil to smash Chiraneau's hammer against.

I am going to take your advice, I think those changes will be much more effective against phantoms and dash builds. I had already decided to add vet instincts to the admiral.

Just double checked the faq... you're right ;)

I'd just use Hothie's Death Blossom TIE swarm... but hey, yeah MOAR TURRENTSESS!

Tactician only works inside your printed firing arc, so may not be as useful as you think.

And at Range 2.

Which is far too many restrictions on those 4 points, for my taste.

If it's stress your after Use this,

4 OGP with 2 Tacticians each.

OR

4 blue b-wings with tacticians.
