I've got what maybe a 1st editon gameboard for the Basic Game. The map is rather dark in color. I've recently purchased the Dunwich Horror Expansion, which has a very light colored game board. It would be nice if both maps were of the same tint/color. Is there any way to order a new board for Arkham Horror? I live in the Twin Cities, FFG is just 20 minutes away, but I don't know if they have any of the game supplies there.

I could use a new board just because all the wear and tear from using mine so much but then again it short of looks cool all beat up. Sort of like maybe the board has explored the Mythos or something.

I would contact customer service to see if you could purchase one. I am sure can get a board without having to pay for a completely new box set. FFG's customer service is quite good and since you live so close you might be able to swing by and pick it up.

Otherwise you might be able to trade with someone who wants a dark colored board.

I'm sure you'll be able to trade it on BGG. I was one of those people that wanted a darker board and had to go the extra mile to find one.
