Joust for laughs

After having lots of fun last night with some multiple A wing lists I've been thinking about other ships I rarely if ever field.

So I'm thinking about an out-and-out jousting list with a pair of Bombers, a Defender and a lone flaking TIE

It'll be as vulnerable as hell to anything that can maneuver - but who cares!

I've gone with Gammas to give me a shout of getting a TL or two in order to trigger Vessery's ability - Scimitars would give me the points to upgrade Vessery a little, or have Backstabber flanking - but then Vessery's ability is likely to go to waste.
Also not sure about Prockets - unless my opponent wants to just duke it out in a jousting match (and why would he) - I can't see I'll ever get the chance to let one off.
Ion missiles better perhaps?
