The Hwk has one more hit point for an upcharge of four points over the Binayres. In a bigger Feedback swarm the Z-95 is definitely better, but with fewer Zs on the board could it be a thing?
Any merit in generic Scum Hwk and Feedback Array
The problem with going with cheap HWKs for Feedback Swarms is that you lose the ability to simply attack.
You're going to want to Attack rather than Feedback when:
- You're at any range but 1
- You're up against ships with low agility
- You're at very low HP and don't want to die
Also, it's far easier for Z-95s to get into Range 1 than it is for HWKs.
Additionally, the difference isn't in the cost of the individual ship, but how many you can field. In this case, it's 7 vs 5.
7 guaranteed damage in a turn is awesome.
5 guaranteed damage in a turn is... not.
No. Inferior dial, less offense with the main guns. You could put a hull upgrade on that Pirate if you were really concerned about it.
Really not seeing a reason to use the generic Scum HWK at all with the current selection of turrets and Illicit upgrades.
Draco nails it, but the bottom line is: why pay more for a self-damaging ship?
