Managed to bump into some fellow players last weekend on my way to the FLGS! I've played with one guy enough to know he's flying to tonight's game. Gonna have ourselves a mini-tournament in the dorms, so I'm trying to figure out just what I wanna fly.

At the moment, I'm looking at:

Farlander

-Adv Sensors

-Stay on Target

-E2

-Int Agent

-Adv Torps (space filler)

-Flechette torps (also space filler)

Han

-C-3P0

-R2-D2

-Falcon title

-Decoy (maybe)

Absolutely certain this guy is bringing a Phantom, Fel, and either Turr Phennir or a couple TIEs, probably the latter, so that's something to keep in mind. No idea what anyone else is bringing.

I'm, not dead-set on the Falcon; it's just in there because I couldn't think of anything else to bring with me.
Let's see some ideas!

Eh.....

I love me some Keyan and I love me some Int Agent. That's why I can say that Int agent is kind of worthless with a larger PS squad, because larger PS ships already know where the enemy is going.

All in all, I find Keyan to be much more effective as a leader of lower PS ships (especially other B-wings, since they're almost tie-like in their ability to casually infuriate the opponent by barrel-rolling into blocks) especially because he very much adores the hairball (Advanced Sensors and SoT lets you navigate it with ease and even slam into incredibly dangerous enemies to avoid their fire with essentially no repercussions whatsoever)

For fatties (ugh) you're imo better off with running two generics when possible. They'll add some bulk and punch for relatively cheap and the fattie will watch for phantoms.

Int agent wasn't in here for a long time, and the only reason its still here is because of that darn Whisper that I know is coming up. Certainly not opposed to taking it out.

Personally, I don't wanna fly a fat YT. It's boring. And not to toot my own horn, but I've got a year+ experience over everyone who's showing up. I don't wanna take the easy way out by flying the almighty Han. Nera, the torpedo launching menace (RecSpec and Deadeye) is crying out to be taken, but that's a lotta points between just a pair of B's (she would of course steal Farlanders torps). But then, everyone here will cry about how expensive ordnance is.

Well, lemme tell you; If I can knock out a 30+ Soontir Fel with a 4-6 one-shot upgrade, isn't that worth it? It's a gamble, because I could miss. But if it works....

I could run Keyan w/ SoT and Adv. Sensors with 3 Blues. The only problem being my mighty 1 agility. Counterargument: dat firepower.

I've also looked at Jan again (flew Keyan/Jan/IonGoldie the other day and completely demolished a Whisper/Fel/Phennir), but she leaves me 34 points if she's running BT. What's a good use of 34 points? Couple Z's, probably. And another upgrade here or there.

Or, Ten Numb with a ManCannon or Marksmanship. Unstoppable crit seems fantastic for taking out their Stealth devices (yeah, they're all gonna have those) and for chipping away at a brittle phantom. With him, I'll have 33 left, if I haven't forgotten how to math.

There's also a Wes + Opportunist idea. Opp replaces SoT on Keyan, of course. Maybe add an HLC to him to let him throw 5 dice, TL + Pseudo-focus every round.

But of course, I've got way to many options and I wanna fly them ALL!

Oh! And C-3P0! He goes great with B-wings.

Don't you worry, Nera's time is coming (new interceptors, new vaders, two new auto-thruster ships--and flechette works on flipping Aggressors)

I flew Keyan with two ion blues and a bandit, and it worked out pretty well (despite the bandit seeming incredibly out of place)

You could also coop him up with hull Biggs and 3 bandits (basically my Stress Wes build, only Keyan swapped in because he costs the exact same)

The options are plenty staggering (it's the "problem" with running B-wings) so I guess it depends on your preferred playstyle. Int agent Keyan lends himself incredibly well to a squad of lower PS mates, but said mates come in all shapes and sizes.
