Vassal up and running. Lets battle!

I just installed and turned on the Vassal mod for the first time - life is so hard :(

The Driven by Hatred card was already on there because at the time (when I published version 9.0) it was the only card that had been spoiled for Wave 10 and it was an easy add (requires no Figures, who normally want their Command Cards, etc). I've never tried to keep up with the previews in the past, because it's far too easy to miss one. Furthermore, since there are periods when we receive new previews every few weeks, people would be having to update their mod far too often. I'll add the new Wave 10 stuff after Wave 10 has been released.

I've noticed the skirmish mission for Tarkin initiative lab (0-0-0) mission A and Mos Eisley back alley (Jawa) mission A are missing from 9.1. Perhaps you've missed those 2?

Currently on vassal both of them actually refers to Anchorhead bar (Obi-wan) mission A

Just downloaded the 9.2 update. Are the bonus modifiers on the dice tool operational? I couldn't figure out how to make them work today.

If you go to the IA Skirmish Vassal Mod thread (over on BGG) you'll find the update notes at the bottom of the first post, in the Change Log.

The short answer to your question is this:

  • Highlight the marker that you want to use (ie, the Dmg or Surge marker)
  • Press the UP or DOWN arrow on your keyboard to increase or decrease the number that's showing. There's no mechanical need to use this (ie, the dice will still work fine if you don't use it), but it's more there as an added convenience for those who'd like to use it every once in a while...such as when someone attacks Boba Fett when he's beside an allied C-3P0 and Chewbacca (and thus has 2 auto-Blocks and 2 auto-Surges)

The IA Skirmish vassal mod is updated with the Heart of the Empire expansion (and its A/V packs). The new maps from this wave are NOT yet included, but all of the cards and figures are there, as well as a fairly smooth user interface for the new Power Token rule mechanic.

The current version of the module is now 10.4. Follow this link and read the "Updates & Changes" section of the first post of that thread for more details.

Most of them point to the full card. For the spoiled cards that we don't have as a full size image can we create a placeholder? If you give me the list of the spoiled cards that you're missing, I can create such placeholders with only text and stats. Then you can easily replace the image once you have the released version. Let me know!

Yes please; that would be helpful. After going through the list, here are the cards that are spoiled but that we don't yet have an actual image for:

  • Pack Alpha (Creature)
  • Karablast (Zeb)
  • ...Graffiti
  • Extra Armor
  • Thrawn Skirmish
  • Foresee (Thrawn)
  • Price of Glory
  • Heavy Fire
  • Hondo Ohnaka
  • Let's Make a Deal
  • Hostile Negotiations
  • Lie in Ambush

I don't see a reason to make proxies for the cards that we can't read. However, I'm sure that people would like to be able to use proxies for the cards where we do know the wording.

Actually, I've just finished making the update; it's uploading to the Vassal server right now.

Therefore, at this point, I don't think it'll be worthwhile for you to take the time making these pseudo-cards, since (from what I can tell) there won't be many cards that you'll actually be able to make. In the end won't be worth uploading (and asking people to download) again. In short, I wouldn't want you to end up wasting your time with this. Thanks for your offer to help, though!

Ok cool. I didn't know you had to go through an approval procedure. Anyway considering few shops are reporting end of August as a shipment date I guess we won't need to wait too long for having the full set of cards.

Okay, the Vassal website has finally approved this update. Version 10.5 is now available for download. Use the same link that I gave a few posts above this one.

This update only adds the new cards and figures that have been spoiled from the upcoming Tyrants of Lothal expansion. If you're not interested in that, then don't worry about downloading this update...version 10.4 is all that you need.

It's the result of a spam surge last year (or was it the previous - can't keep track of the time). The process is usually pretty quick though.

Yep, I saw it. I'm working on the update now.

Ok, they're up. Version 10.6 has Sabine and Extra Armor and a bunch of new command cards. All of these new pieces will be listed at the BOTTOM of their associated lists.

I have already upped those cards with the aid of @a1bert , but i lack the permission to upload it.
The reason is serious here, because our nationals are gonna take place under TOL and people is already testing the rebels while we can't

Ok, thanks for letting me know about the urgency here. I've uploaded the new version (10.7), and it'll be ready for download pretty soon...likely tonight, assuming that the moderators approve my updates quickly enough.

This morning I downloaded it and in the Hondo letter (to create the deck) I left vinto ...
