I'm usually a Empire Flyer, so flying Rebel lists are kinda strange, I bump and grind my own ships some times and have trouble getting out of the Evil mind set.
Anyhoo, my buddy Greg and I met tonight for our weekly xwing match, having decided to switch sides ,he went with:

2 x Gold Sqd both w/ R2 and ion T

After an hour of heavy shooting and dodging and weaving, it came down to Dutch dead, one of the Golds down to 2 hull, the other Gold un-touched, and the rookie with 2 hull left.
the Admiral got ioned of the map with 11 hull hits, Whisper got tagged by a long ball shot by the Rookie xwing!
I think I was quite lucky with Rookie,found the Deci was fun to blast with auto ions at rg 1-2.
For not flying Rebels in awhile, I had a great time with this list.
BTW, this is similar to the list he slaughtered me with afew weeks back.
Almost makes me want to defect...
