Hey, I've been working in the little spare time I have on an agot database. So far entering the cards has been using some perl off of Darth Jeff's amazing excel spreadsheet. I'm at crown of suns... but given some spare time I think I can get through the rest of his sheet in short order.

The real killer will be what's not covered in his spreadsheet: 5KE, ACoA, AToR, KLE.

So... I'm asking if anyone has the spare time to make a spreadsheet in the same format as Darth Jeff's.... even if it's just one chapter pack it's still one less chapter pack i have to enter by hand... and I can devote more time to getting the database more user friendly. It does not have to be in excel... I export it to a text based format anyhow... and I've got Open Office. (But I also have Excel... ).

Also a real help is if anyone has the reprint list from when VED was in Standard... (i.e. so i can figure out what VED reprinted. my database tracks that...similar to gatherer for Magic).

I would not be so concerned... but I've been noting a real need for an up to date agot database... and etcg does not have KLE...

I haven't seen Darth Jeff's spread sheet so I don't know the format.

Will this database be searchable under all the labels and will it have a deck builder?

He has one updated to winds of winter tha i have a copy of.

I plan on a deck builder. And it's searchable for just about everything. I'm rather busy but I've been getting numeric comparisons and text box searching built in... then I'll probably release a limited beta to some folks, before I fine tweak the searching and then add in the deck building section.

Bear in mind... I have an internal deadline I plan on accomplishing... so until my beta, I intend to focus on a limited amount of functionality... so all new features are already frozen until then. I won't give a release date... since this is being done in my spare time, and that fluctuates depending on work and other life related events. I only posted since I do need and appreciate help with compiling the card data.

DarthJeff already has up to Winds of Winter. I'd feel quite horrible if folks did redundant work. (It is rather time consuming).

So for those that want to help... maybe doing a chapter pack post WoW in the same format. (The sheet up to Ahota can be found on tzumainn.com/agot under cards.)

And if one could also note quantity as in... which ones are 3 and which ones are not it could be usefull and I can then put that in as something searchable in my database... folks do seem to like knowing that.
