If not Vess, then the Ties using their action to target-lock instead of...anything else

drop the Proton Rockets and Engine Upgrade on Vessery and upgrade all those Tie for Bombers and you'll find yourself with a much more competitive build.

With all the 2-ship builds out there, I pair Vessery with a large ship (e.g. Decimater) with Weapon Engineer for action economy.
