I have 1 point left, and may put Calculation on Kaa'to, but that depends on if/when I get a StarViper, which isn't part of my preorder.

I have to say that I don't like all these Dead Man Switches. People are going to be blasting their own ships that way.

To me it only seems good if you're not flying in a formation.

I made a similar list in my mind.

1.) I don't think the K-4 droid is the best crew for this Boba. To me, this version crys for a Recon Specialist to help with your re-rolling.

2.) Hot shot blasters is a fine choice, but have you considered inertial dampeners? (plus if you like the K-4 droid it combos well with this)

3.) I agree with the person above and deadman switches (although really hilariously funny) aren't that great compared to it's cousin Feedback array.

4.) If you want to use Kaa'to, Recon Spec on Boba would be a good combo, cause it's a free focus without stripping any of your ships of their tokens.

I like the list myself, however you might want to reconsider the deadman switches on the Z-95's cause I assume you fly them in formation.

To me, the K4 is an awesome selection for a PTL Firespray. It should be grabbing a free TL nearly every time it greens coming out of a Push round. It can triple-combo TL/Focus/Evade, or sacrifice one of the green tokens for a repositioning effort via Boost.

I prefer the build on Kath -- it's generally easier to Push/green/Push/green/ad infinitum driving away from the enemy than it is driving into them, like Boba. But it's nice on both pilots!

However, your 4th point is a good one. If Leachos is in the list, RecSpec is a more synergistic crew choice. In fact, I don't think I'd ever field him without having a focus bank elsewhere in the list. His middling PS and Z-95 statline aren't good enough to warrant him stealing valuable tokens from teammates and leaving them without ANY token of their own.

I think PTL + K4 Security Droid + Engine makes more sense on Kath. More likely to be kiting with Kath with that rear arc, so more likely range 2-3. Fett needs the TL less often, in general. I like Outlaw Tech, I think, since you'll likely want to get into combat fast, but that means no PTL, since some times you'd want the option to K Turn.

Phild0 describes it better. Boba is going to get free re-rolls %99 of the time, so Target locks would be kind of a waste. Kath is a more suitable person for the K-4 droid, however I can see his uses on Boba.

And I would rather take a recon spec because when attacking with re-rolls you will want to have focus tokens to turn those eyeballs into hits. Same goes for defending. I cant stress enough when you get to re-roll your blanks to end up with an eyeball you can't modify. Frustrating as hell. This way you will have a focus token for both offense and defense, then you could use PTL for a evade. Using Engine Upgrade plus pushing to get 2 focus is one of my favorite combos on large ships, especially the Firespray, Saved my ass a few times.
