Combos you might not have known about

Every now and then I'll see an interaction between two cards either on my own or on the forums that I never thought about before.

For me it was that munitions failsafe works with Hot Shot Blaster. I haven't tested scum yet and it might be too pricy of an upgrade but maybe being able to munitions failsafe it might make it more worthwhile.

Not sure if anyone else posted this yet but Guri might be a decent platform for advanced proton torpedoes.

Is there any card interactions you've recently come across that many probably haven't thought of yet?

It's not some obscure card interaction, but I like my PTL Dash with Nien Nunb.

Many people who field Dash play the 58-super Dash variant (HLC, outrider, PTL, Engine, Kyle). The stress from PTL makes this build very easy to block and really limits this build that should be all about manoeuvring. Nien elevates this somewhat and makes you a lot less predictable.

Rebel captive still sucks for him though.

Granted, this only works on the Andrasta Firespray right now, but it's amusing to do to choke off part of the map.

Someone suggested to me to use my Lambda with Advanced Sensors and Engine Upgrade. You can boost first, and then do the sharp 2 turn (which is red) to really turn around quite a bit.

Nien nunb turns ion manuevers green. I've got a feeling this will come in handy against BTL-A4 builds that will pop up soon

I like the synergy of Lando and C-3PO .. might not be as uncommon or unheard of. Together with Experimental Interface it gives you at least 1 action and maybe up to 3 Tokens... chances are you end up with 3 tokens in total still better then 1 :) Of course you have to deal with stress...

stay on target seemed like a Keyan card from the get go, but at PS 7 the combo seemed kind of pointless

The existence of the B/e mod and the Intelligence agent crew upgrade had completely slipped my mind

Recon Specialist and the Firespray are great. Not sure if it's well known or not. I just found out a couple of weeks ago. Use one for offense and one for defense. Or both for defense.

Stay on target isn't about correcting you flight path. It's Bout getting that free stress. Take him with advanced sensors and always pick the 2k. Target lock, Rotate to any 2 speed, take the stress. Happy hunting.

No, it's also really about correcting your flight path

The fact that Keyan noms "red focus" doesn't make it an amazing ability for his offense, it makes him an amazing pilot that can exploit Stay on Target every turn

Corran Horn + FCS + Any Torpedo.

Attack a ship, get a Target Lock from FCS. For the double tap, use the torpedo!

You could even save your Focus, as well. Just in case. Or use the Ion Torp.

Ysanne, PtL, Engine Upgrade.

Take your normal action, if your shields are down and you have taken at least 1 damage, wait until the start of the Combat Phase when Ysanne grants you a free Evade Action - then use Ptl to Boost (Engine Upgrade).

PS 12 mobility options, mkay.

I've never tried this, but it looks good in theory(well, my version of theory, anyway): Wes + Opportunist on someone else that shoots after him. Wes usually guarantess that Opportunist can be trigged, giving the other guy an extra dice. Particularly good if he can shed stress, which is why I usually imagine him with Hobbie (who requires the EPT droid to pull this off) or Keyan (who uses his stress as a focus. Throw an HLC on there and maybe a Target Lock for giggles.)

I've never tried this, but it looks good in theory(well, my version of theory, anyway): Wes + Opportunist on someone else that shoots after him. Wes usually guarantess that Opportunist can be trigged, giving the other guy an extra dice. Casual game I paired him up with Wedge and Porkins, with Wes using Veteran Instincts to shoot before them of course. Porkins can be absolutely terrifying if your red dice consistently roll eyes/blanks/crits. And for some reason I've never thought of Keyan + HLC + Opportunist before, must try that.

I love using Porkins with R5-D8. My friends now target him ASAP as they hate him lasting so long in the game.

I was just toying with a list with Wes, Keyan + HLC + Oportunist, and Jan Ors. Cus really, who doesn't like throwing 6 dice at Range 3
