I would say no: The borders of impassable terrain are walls, and you can't be adjacent through a wall, regardless of what Mobile lets you do.

But maybe I'm wrong?

The nexu is adjacent to the hatch. The corner doesn't block adjacency.

It is adjacent as per adjacency rules (RRG p.4)
