Secondary weapons require a primary arc. The firespray's rear arc is an auxiliary arc. So anything that refers to 'arc' applies, anything that refers to 'primary arc' doesn't.

Well, I guess that would depend on various factors such as overall dimensions of the nit, the size of the picking device, whether or not prevailing weather conditions (including wind speed and direction and light conditions) would alter anything.
