Two battles today. The first I ran my 4 X-Wing list (Luke w/ R2 astromech, Biggs w/ R2D2, 2x Rookie) so my regular opponent would have a final opportunity to take Biggs out before an enforced leave due to my work schedule (training for a new position at work, out of town for 10 weeks). My opponent was running Boba Fett w/ Engine Upgrade and Ruthlessness, and Rear Admiral Chiraneau w/ Rebel Captive, Determination, Tactician, and Moff Jerjerodd.
During the battle, I had zero luck with my dice, and I didn't fly as well as I could have I think.
The kicker however was my damage deck. I think it was out to get me as well...

So for the second battle, I wanted to try out my Imperials again. I've been struggling with them (0-2 so far) and took to heart some recommendations from this thread:

I ended up with Carnor Jax w/ PtL, Backstabber, Howlrunner w/ Determination, 3x Academy Pilot. I was going up against Ten Numb w/ Determination and Assault Missile, Keyan Farlander w/ B Wing E2 Kyle Katarn and VI, Ibitsam w/ Determination.
I also paid more attention to asteroid placement, which helped with my opening moves. My asteroids are on the left.

My plan was to be very aggressive to start, with Jax and Backstabber running around and hitting the B Wings from behind.

In the initial pass, I lost 1 Tie Fighter, and had damage to another causing stress. The assault missile was particularly damaging, with all 4 in the mini swarm taking damage from it.

That being said, I was able to quickly take one of his B Wings out (Ten Numb I think), and the battle ended up as a big melee with some very impressive maneuvering on my part (total fluke, would never happen again I'm sure!)

I lost another Academy Pilot, but was feeling good about it, because the B Wings were rapidly losing or had lost shields.

It ended up with Backstabber and an Academy Pilot vs Keyan, and some poor maneuvering on my part ended up losing the battle.

It was close though, and could have gone either way right up to the end. A couple of very bad dice rolls on my part led to me doing no damage to his B Wing for the last couple of rounds when I had great opportunities to take Keyan out. It was a lot more fun than previous attempts at running Imperials, and I think next time I'd change the Determination on Howlrunner for Veteran Instincts on Backstabber.
