Do not underestimate the power of the Dark Side of the Force...

By Englishpete, in X-Wing

So I attended a 30 person tourney yesterday flying;

Carnor Jax (34)
Royal Guard Tie, Predator, Hull Upgrade, Shield Upgrade

Royal Guard Pilot (32)
Royal Guard Tie, predator, Hull Upgrade, Shield Upgrade

Royal Guard Pilot (32)
Royal Guard Tie, predator, Hull Upgrade, Shield Upgrade

I came in 5th, 3 Full wins, 1 Modified and 1 loss.

Defeated, Whisper, Echo, Horn, Chiraneau, lost to Fat Han.

The Interceptor has and always will be a BRILLIANT and competitive ship.

As much as I will congratulate for your victories in general and over the Wave 5 scum (not the good kind coming in Wave 6), I have to say that anecdotes don't really count as evidence

Waiting for auto-thrusters to keep my green arch-nemesis off of my interceptors as much as possible

Also, congrats on your performance!

OK, I'm biased as I fly Int's a lot, but it was a good feeling killing Whisper, Echo and Corran by using the Int's maneuver's and Jax's ability.

Int's are nasty. Sure, a bad matchup is a bad matchup...but that doesn't -- at all -- diminish the fact that it's a great little piece of snub-fighter, with some top notch flyboys manning the 'stick. They're good stuff.

Can't dispute that (just the bad match-ups)

Just as Englishpete is biased towards Ints, I'm biased against them because when you take away their awesome maneuverability what do you have left?

Answer: my goddamn forum handle <_<

I do own and frequently fly soontir, though. Token turtling helps ^_^ until your dice fart out those four to five blanks on you -_-

Well, after auto-thrusters, there will only be three to four blanks!
