Best four interceptor list?

Now that S&V is shipping, I am wondering what's the best list we can put together with four interceptors? Have seen four Royal Guards with PTL. Fitting in autothrusters on all four seems tough without losing the crazy action efficiency so my thought was this

The Alphas can attempt to block where autothrusters don't help a great deal anyway. Soontir and the RGP try to arc dodge and snipe. I realize the two alphas would probably be better as three Academy pilots but is there another good way to run four interceptors?

I usually just run 4 royal guards with Push the Limit. Arc dodge the best you can with boost barrel roll or just focus, evade every turn versus turrets.

4 royal guard with daredevil is fun too

I'd ditch the two targeting computers to get Jax in there over the RGP

Imo, Jax denying enemy focus/evade will up the damage of your squad (and potentially survivability by limiting enemy dice mods) more than TL would up the damage of your aces.

I'd be tempted by:

Turr Phennir - Veteran Instincts

Royal Guard Pilot - Push the Limit

Royal Guard Pilot - Push the Limit

Saber Squadron Pilot - Push the Limit

To my mind Turr is the one Interceptor pilot that can safely take an elite pilot skill that isn't PtL - and VI is both the best option and the cheapest.

Gaining a VI Turr in return for downgrading a single Royal Guard pilot to a Saber Squadron pilot is totally worth it in my opinion...

You could go further and swap a second Royal Guard down to a Saber, and add in Canor Jax, but you'd have to lose PtL somewhere - a very difficult trade off!

I could imagine Daredevil Soontir becoming a very real thing once auto-thrusters hit

I've been trying to get used to this too. They're **** fun to fly - watching them hoon around the board with boost/barrel roll is ridiculous.

4 royal guard with daredevil is fun too

I keep wondering about daredevil. I played a guy a year or more back who used daredevil on squints and it worked well.

The other one I've been wondering about (post scum) is four royal guard pilots with Autothrusters and Veteran Instincts. PS8 with thrusters strikes me as a potentially dangerous thing to face. Plus - unlike so many interceptor lists - you're not nailed to the green manouvres and actually get to use those fast 5 straights and tight hard 1 turns.
